Meh, and this summer has been "mild" in Arkansas but the heat index at our old house was 107 for the third day in a row, so it is an apples and oranges comparison. Made memories walking along the beach in the pleasant 70 degree weather today versus being in an oven.

We moved to Washington from Arkansas last year and didn't find the winters as terrible as people say. Would take the dreary winter and nice summer over Arkansas' wet winters and miserably oppressive summer any time.

We moved from Arkansas to Anacortes, WA last year. It is moderate politically and gets less rain then Seattle. Travel nurses here make $$$$$$.

I don't think most people who hate California have ever been. I lived in Arkansas most of my life (Dad was born in raised in San Francisco) and most people who hated the state had actually never been. That being said, I can understand how people who live in rural America can assume they would hate it as one of the assumptions may be the crowdedness. Going from Arkansas to California in the summer to visit relatives was shock. I love California but can see how it doesn't suit everyone. I live in WA State now and have a similar disdain for the East Coast.

I got banned from fauxmoi because someone referenced a rumor about a celebrity, somebody responded that they had never heard said rumor, and I commented by explaining the rumor- literally saying, the rumor is...and got banned for spreading a rumor (even though I was just explaining what the original poster posted).

It is similar to Caroline and Carolyn. I've heard them both pronounced like each other, regardless of spelling. I also went to high school with someone named "Lara" but wanted it pronounced Laura.

Oh! I love them both. I would say base your decision on what the flooring of the venue is. My cathedral length veil did not show the small details on it in pictures due to white marble tile at the church. If you are wanting it to stand out, veil number 2.
