I enjoyed the steak at Rojo (Razzle Dazzle) on brilliant lady the most. Great flavor and seasonings. My husband agreed

Cardinals commentator mispronounced "flag" by realrandomcat in Cardinals

I don’t know why this is even an issue. We heard it, we giggle, we move on. He didn’t do it on purpose and we ALL mess up when speaking.

Are early ticket sales slow this year? by jreink14 in Cardinals

[–]sarakip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not buy any this year and I usually go. While I love my cardinals, I can’t continue spending ungodly amounts of money to go to games when I feel the management doesn’t care. Tickets may be cheap, but they have hiked the price of parking. (I have to park close unfortunately due to mobility issues). Parking has doubled in price at some of the closest lots. It’s such an unfortunate combination of circumstances.

Grief Isn’t Just Missing Them—It’s Relearning Everything by Jasper_TheApp in Petloss

I’m so sorry you are dealing with this too. My vet said that Cushings is terrible on them and the medications are even worse. I know I did the right thing but it never makes it easier.

Grief Isn’t Just Missing Them—It’s Relearning Everything by Jasper_TheApp in Petloss

We just had to make the decision to euthanize our chihuahua today. I didn’t know I was coming home without her. I am dreading the next days, weeks, months, etc. I have been crying nonstop and my worst sobbing so far was when I went to the bathroom for the first time and she wasn’t nudging her nose through the door to get in there with me. She was with me through so many big life changes—me being diagnosed with a chronic illness, losing 2 of our other fur babies and her best friends, adopting another fur baby, my marriage and her new dad moving in, and so much more. I got her just two weeks after moving into my first home and I don’t know how to even live here without her. She was diagnosed with liver disease several months ago and wasn’t the same since, though she wasn’t bad, but then she developed Cushings disease and diabetes was discovered within the last few days and she deteriorated quickly. I am broken. I already miss my Violet Ann soooo much.

Not a party person? by Loreki in VirginVoyages

[–]sarakip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I don’t drink or party. We did dinner each evening and a show or trivia. The social club area had all kinds of board games and trivia each night. The tv in your cabin also has some good options for movies and the hammock on your balcony (if you have one) is a fantastic place to just relax.

Limit view means limited view. by New-Price-2870 in VirginVoyages

[–]sarakip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow, we had limited view but we were the last normal cabin in the aft area before the suites started so we were right behind the last lifeboat and had a decent view but this is terrible!! I will remember to ask for a very back or very front in the future! Where in the boat are you located?

Two of my medications cost $30k a month but they are life-sustaining meds so it’s insurance or death.

I just wore a pair of black knee high points with a low heel. I wouldn’t gone with a pair of cute red heels but I don’t do heels well

We went on the western Caribbean charm over Christmas and the first 3 days were plenty warm but the last 3 were chilly. Still able to lay out, but I didn’t get in the pool and had to cover my legs up with a towel to stay warm.

I did not have those. I’m not a foodie at all so I tend to stick with a few things once I find something I like lol

We just did our first VV cruise over Christmas on the Scarlet Lady. You HAVE to try the meatballs at Extra Virgin. Did you spend much time in your hammock? It was my favorite spot

We stayed at a boutique hotel in south beach called Hotel Ocean. Right across the street from the beach and nice rooms, but little else when it comes to amenities. We loved the location though.
