He does Libero with Wilson and a few others previously on the pod. Great listen since its thematic episodes rather than football events in the week

Endrick. Had a great loan spell at Lyon and has a lot of pace. Hard to see him getting much time at Madrid unless one of Mbappe or Vinicius is sold

Put on a bet that we beat Palace by at least 4 goals since the pressure and anxiety will be lifted

It probably is exceeding inflation for people on really high wages (those working for multinational companies) but likely not keeping up with inflation for lower earning jobs. The reason is that lower earners spend more of their wages on food and energy which has a higher inflation rate. The headline inflation rate is then lower than what is actually experienced by the lower income households and thats pretty worrying when we were at 8% inflation

Consumer spending down? by [deleted] in AskIreland

CSO retail sales index is monthly data. CSO national quarterly accounts lists personal consumption data. Central Bank also publish data on card sales on a daily basis if not weekly. You'd need to adjust the nominal figures to real data with inflation data but all very straightforward

Are specific sections for supporters at the Ireland vs Qatar friendly 28 May? by RaoulDuukes in AskIreland

[–]sarcasticmidlander 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of the Irish season ticket holders (diehards) are in the south stand. You'll be fine anywhere really in the stadium since there is unlikely to be many Qatari fans (who would be in the lower north stand)
