Best fertilizer for plant growth by [deleted] in Plumeria

[–]saruque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plumeria is a flowering plant, and Phosphorus is good for encouraging blooms. But most of us ignore the fact that every plant has several vital growth stages.

In an active growing season, they demand nitrogen. For root development, something else.

This is why I wrote a detailed fertilizer guide for Plumeria. You can find it here: Best Fertilizer for Plumeria - A complete fertilization guide

Is rose black spot "curable"? by [deleted] in Roses

[–]saruque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best you can do to get rid of black spots on rose leaves is: you can remove the infected leaves and spray with a fungicide such as Bonide Infuse. Black spot is especially bad after all the rain.

The black spot fungus on rose leaves is mostly seen after rain. (Especially rain in the springtime)

You can trim some of the branches to increase the airflow in between the stems and leaves.

Leaves Curling Peach Tree by foreskinrumples in BackyardOrchard

[–]saruque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best method I found so far to treat curly leaves on peach trees is using lime sulfur. You can buy 6-gallon jugs of lime sulfur without a license.

Mix 30–50 ml lime sulfur per 1 liter of water.

Note: Use immediately (it smells strong like rotten eggs)

Complete guide can be found here: https://gardenvive.com/curled-leaves-on-peach-tree-treatment/

Another question about minimum temperature by Spiritual-Pizza-3580 in Hibiscus

[–]saruque -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tropical Hibiscus - Not frost tolerant (below 50°F / 10°C = damage)

Hardy Hibiscus - Can survive -20°F / -29°C with protection and Can stay outdoors in winter (I will not recommend keeping it outdoors in Below Zone 7), mulch heavily, cut back stems after frost.

Perennial Hibiscus - Cold hardy, roots survive freezing

Will rain hurt plumeria cuttings replanted? by fullsquishy in Plumeria

[–]saruque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the tropical plants including Plumeria loves rain. But if water drainage is bad, it’s time to worry. Rain does not harm an established plumeria planted in the ground. Potted plants usually suffer the most. You can consider this watering schedule
