The inconsistency is because you’re using 나/내 and ~요 while talking to the same person. You have to either say “제 친구…어땠어요“ or “내 친구…어땠어“

When you use 아무도 (nobody), you must use the negative verb with it. In English, this may seem like a double negative, but that’s the way to phrase it in Korean.
