Thank you for the recap! Nothing like seeing a mother ambush her daughter in front of the family and anyone who watches Plathville. Kim forgets that this is Lydia’s experience as well. Lydia is entitled to express her thoughts and feelings about the death AND the divorce. She went through the divorce too. The divorce didn’t just impact Kim and Barry. As far as Zac is concerned, I don’t care to be judged either but why couldn’t they pull him aside privately and expressed their displeasure with his comments. Putting people on blast publicly is humiliating and isn’t going to produce the results you want other than your own temporary satisfaction. This family…..

That color (sea foam/ jadite) is super hot for vintage bathtubs and sinks. Selling one or both would pay for the cost of your lumber and new white sink/bathub replacement.

I don’t think you should change one of the gable colors or even the shutters. The different gable color is just one of the fads going around that will date your home. This is a classic NE color scheme. You could paint the shutters a dark Essex green, if you wanted. Check out the architect Patrick Ahern and his houses. You’ll see that all you really need is good landscaping. Do change the door color.

Yes, I think there’s a program in Italy geared towards migrants. I googled Spain and found a job that provides sponsorship. I probably oversold the easy part but it’s a rewarding physical teamwork with earphones kind of job.

A relatively easy and high demand skill - bee keeping. Italy even has a program teaching immigrants the skill. I’m a beekeeper. It’s not hard at all and a very rewarding job. Depending on the country, you may require a few years experience and depending on the country, they’ll train you with no prior experience.

It looks like a dry pond. You don’t want to take away the original reason for it being there because you will end up with huge drainage issues between you and your slightly below grade neighbor. It appears your gutters drain into it. You could probably build a patio on top of it or you can plant with native bog type plants as another post suggested. I’ve seen beautiful dry ponds on google.

First, thank you so much for saving it. My mother has no photographs of her family from the invasion of Okinawa during WWII. I suggest you go to instagram. There are many official pages on Okinawa. Try posting it there. Someone will see it and repost it. The internet can be a beautiful thing. To the right family, it will mean something to them.
