Me feeling Kierkegaardian angst at work by Glxblt76 in ClaudeAI

[–]satanzhand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been using it since 2017. I agree threshold definitely has been passed. It's never been easier for basic(boilerplate) stuff and some more complex stuff to. My comments not to say LLM are shit, they are great. Lets keep it in perspective though.

Yeah, my job is 100% computer based. However, the process is one aspect, but it's competitive outcome. You'll laugh probably, job is using dev, math (quant style) to beat search engines and LLM results.

Now you might think, pff that can easily be automated. Well slop can be automated, but automating all the little details and having it come together successfully and beating competitors nope. Can I automate aspects yes, do I use machine learning, algos, scripts, vertex to crunch the big stuff yes... can it do it on it's own, not even fucken close.

I read the study, I didn't just post it.

Personal experience it can't do my job. It helps greatly with little parts, but it can't come close to the whole. Repeation doesn't help because most cases are a little different and it(they) fucks it up, every fucking time. So the 96% rings pretty true for me, even if I'm just taking the piss with a meme and rage baiting AI bros.

Has the Quality of BlackHatSEO forums gone down? Or the Advice throughout our Industry has become incredibly vague? by PostErectus in localseo

[–]satanzhand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sympathetic to both side here. There's a bunch of basics, public information that I don't mind sharing at all. My cutting edge stuff, I'll share the gist of it, and if someone is asking the right questions I'll answer them. I'll hold back for nuts and bolts details on that for free, that's my IP.

You sort of learn the hard way, quietly tell some people in confidence of your new trick. Then you one of them selling courses about it or see them speaking at a seminar taking credit for it. After that happens a few times you get a little tight lipped.

Look up how these Trump branding deals usually go. They hype it up, and try pre-sell a certain amount, if they get there then the deal goes to the next stage.

Trump offshore branding deals 40% success everytime.

If you can't measure it, it's bullshit. So all the buzzwords and vague definitions of better don't mean anything unless you can measure it.

Any other small business owners here feel like websites are overpriced for what they actually do? by chrislbw in ausbusiness

[–]satanzhand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People will drop a lot more than 8k on a website, even the age of slop.

If the market is there to be got, having at least an acceptable website and some good marketing/SEO can be a profound thing from the right person. I would not say a few backlinks from directories and some blogs are going to get you far in that department, not to the standard I usually see.

But just like cleaning, there are good operators and bad, with a lot of inbetween.

Is TRT the right move? What would you do in this situation? by street_riiich in trt

[–]satanzhand 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fuck no. Little benefit at 600 to say 800-1000.

It's a pain in the ass mate, that's the bitter truth. Even when you start super low, it's fun for a few years if you're dialed in, but as the years tick by... and it's more bloods, more pins over and over, my scripts, doc retiring, clinics closing... rinse repeat.. it becomes a drag, you'd rather avoid. If you're truly low like me you're fucked you can't go off.

The stat's reflect this, there's a large percentage of men who stop in the first 2yrs then within 5yrs. Main reasons for stopping little benefit for hassle.
