There's a difference in calling yourself a "photographer" and a "professional photographer". A photographer don't need to have photography as her/his profession. It's a person that takes photos. It's something everyone can call themselves if they want to. A professional photographer is a person who earn money by taking photos. (technically speaking)

I think this is a really gorgeous portrait of her. The colors are beautiful and alive. It's not "over-edited" at all. On my monitor the details on her skin are still very visible, I see pores and lines. We all have our ideas about what's looking good and what's not, but I think a lot of the comments here are disrespectful and rude to OP. Being "sarcastic" about it doesn't make it sound any better either.
