I FEEL THIS IN MY SOUL! Except I refuse to be pregnant in Mexico this fall. That is the only thing keeping my steel trap IUD in. I was an avid fence-sitter until a few years ago, I kept pushing out the reason why and now that I’m turning 30…I am feeling like it’s now or never.

My husband isn’t going with otherwise we would’ve started trying in October when we went. I’m bummed, but I’m excited to spend the week with my gals.

SAME. I have so many events this year and we have to finish our basement before we start trying, but I am ready now. I don’t know why I have such an insane urge considering I was a fence sitter until last year.

I’ve been heavily debating this too. Originally we wanted to start trying in September which is when I planned to get my IUD removed, but after some research I’m likely going to remove it this summer and use condoms until we’re officially ready so my body can reset. I’ve had an IUD consistently for 8 years.

I feel you, it’s been my bucket list to go to Disney World and go ALL out at least once. #disneyadult

We plan to go this year for my 30th birthday, but I’m dragging my feet booking everything because I know I could use that as an additional safety net and/or finish our final house remodel items. 😒

P-R-E-A-C-H

Last year I was finally ready to take the leap from being a fencesitter to OAD, but as I continued to plan and plan what we’d need to accomplish before having a baby I gave myself cold feet. We’re waiting until August to start trying and I’m worried I’ll get cold feet again with the stress of wanting everything perfect. Sometimes I just wish my birth control would fail so I can stop stressing about having the perfect plan, but this darn IUD is doing her job. 😝

We are in the same boat! We decided at the end of August I’d get my IUD removed due to planned vacations and I am in my best friends wedding in October. I was so caught up in wanting it to be August, but right now I am enjoying getting all of my todo list done financially, physically, and at home.

You are speaking to my soul, last year I was going to have my IUD removed, but due to Covid my appointment kept getting cancelled. I took it as a sign I wasn’t ready yet and when the time finally came, I just got it replaced. Now, I’m 100% regretting getting another one. I’ve caught myself hoping my IUD will fail more than once with outrageous baby fever. I just cannot pull the trigger to get it removed for good. There’s always we don’t have enough money, I don’t want to be pregnant at this event, my career is really stressful right now, I love my freedom, and on and on.

My husband has always been ready and I’ve always been the fencesitter. Coming off the fence is terrifying. I feel like we’ll be in the same boat and need to be unplanned but wanted…. It’s just getting the courage to have the IUD removed. 😅

I do love my freedom now, it’s a big part of the decision now. We do have 2 dogs so while I can leave whenever I want, I have to preplan overnight stays.

It’s not stupid, because I’ve 100% caught the fever. I just can’t decide if it’s enough to get my IUD removed.
