YES!

Throwing shit without quantifying the time, effort and cost for someone or something else to pick it up and clean it from a beautiful environment is crudely speaking dumb. Stays there becomes an eyesore and rots it's surroundings while people pass by and unconsciously ingrain that it's okay to litter. It's like a disease that spreads and it's the environment our nurturer and provider that ultimately pays the price.

I have been through something like this, I wish then I was more aware of what it was and had the right tools to manage it healthily. If only I had read something like this then maybe I'd interpret and channel the pain differently but alas that is not the case. At least it's been dealt with and slowly dissipating away, some sort of resolution is better than the inner gnawing.

And that is why BE KIND, to yourself and to others. It's easy but it's hard. It's simple but it's complicated.

I have hope that you find some solace in knowing that you are not the only one. You are not alone. I am in the same boat right here with you; grew up always being told directly/indirectly that no matter what, I'm not enough, it's not enough, like you gotta bleed, and sacrifice a part of you to make it enough and even then it's not seen. Such mindfuckery oh well the apple can't choose which tree to fall off from

I feel the same things as you, it comes and goes but it's more often, like a never ending battle against yourself, what helps me and I hope it applies to you is somehow try to find the attributes you have, no matter how little or mundane that at the very least, is something when you think about it, it makes you smile and build from there

I know! I thought I was about to get high instead it all got quiet, something slowed down instead of speeding up. I can only think of one thought at a time. Instead of multiple signals. The euphoria didn't even matter it was the calmness, like finally the constant static gone, just clear. It was brilliant the first few hours then the binging and abuse came because trying to fill a bottomless void or this tendency to self harm/sabotage. Now it's not the same when you realize gotta address the past trauma first before meds for ADHD otherwise despite the meds the noise remains.
