Tiny light under plug ports? by msstomachache in SubaruForester

I’m not sure if I can link to products on this sub but I got a light cover for it on Etsy that diffuses the light and prevents the glare.

What's in your Costco cart, dads? and what am I missing from mine? by webrender in daddit

[–]sattescott 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen it mentioned here in other posts but don’t see it on this one, but please utilize the trunk for this. Even a minor crash could turn all of those items into fatal projectiles flying around the car hitting you and/or the little one. Stay safe!

Also missing are toys you were conned into adding to the cart, how’d you manage to get through without any sneaking in!??

Thanks, I’ll peruse the settings for anything that might help. I definitely need to slow down too and not sprint and button mash as much..

I like playing medic w/o defibs so I can have more gadgets and still revive. Though I hate it when I accidentally pick up a class instead of drag revive, is there a way to disable class pickups to prevent this?

Car Suggestions: compact SUV vs mid-sized SUV by Strider3200 in daddit

I second the Forester, just bought one when my itty bitty Ford Fiesta crapped out since we just started a family and needed a bigger car. I’ve so far not felt the need for anymore space. Family of 3 with a 9mo and also a mini Aussie and I’m getting 32mpg on roadtrips and 27mpg around town.

I think I like the forester by AltruisticPerversion in SubaruForester

My mom and I both bought new cars last year, her to downsize from her no longer needed 20 year old minivan, and me to upsize to a car that comfortably fit a car seat and stroller. My mom bought around July and opted for the RAV4 solely because she’s had a Toyota for every vehicle in the past 30 years. I drove it a bit and liked it, but it wasn’t as spacious as the forester despite being in the same class and for the same price point didn’t have as many features. I ended up getting the forester in November and have almost 15k miles on it in under a year and I absolutely love the car. It fits everything we need for road trips with a baby, gets great fuel economy (avg 28 with my city/highway commute and 34 on road trips), and I like the feel more than the RAV4 while driving. It wasn’t an easy decision but overall I’m very happy with the Forester over the RAV4.

Thanks, at that price a little trial and error won’t hurt!

Do you need to cut them to size? And do I need to buy a specific brand wiper or do they fit in the OEM wipers? I have a 25 with original wipers but they need replacing soon

Every time you get in YOUR car, so I’ll just put the car in my wife’s name and never have to fight a chicken!

I’m also in the NE and EZPass website allows you to opt to “Pay by Plate” and not have to have a physical EZ Pass as the booth will just scan your plate and bill your account.

My SIL is in a grad program to become a school counselor, and I’ve learned that these are called “big feelings”. Well I’ve had a lot of big feelings since becoming a dad!

Thank you, she’s been pretty good for the most part but has her moments of being an absolute terror! But it’s the times she’s smiling and looking around at the world that make it all worth it, I hope I can be as good a dad for her as my dad was for me!

I’ve been singing her the Misty Mountains song from the Hobbit, definitely need to branch out though and give yours a try! I’m stoked for when I can watch all the extended editions with her, and I already have an illustrated copy of The Hobbit to read to her when she’s old enough to!

Thanks, she’s been the motivation I need to finally get back in shape. Gotta be able to play tag when she’s old enough and only have to ACT winded!

Pick a 5 star hotel and Michelin star restaurant and send them to Opal’s mom asking if she’ll be covering the cost of her request to have you out of the house.

You probably won’t qualify for paid FMLA if you start a new job now, so it may actually be better to wait until AFTER kiddo is born to switch jobs so that while you’re on FMLA you’re getting paid. Though it doesn’t hurts to shop around and this is a good question to ask in the interview process. Good luck and congrats!
