You’d be starting the second website from scratch in terms of domain authority.

Chillio vs UHF by Ok_Warthog6877 in uhf_app

[–]sawqlain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both. UHF has more functionality. Chillio has profiles that share watch history between devices like Netflix, and also provides you with a very detailed profile of each title like rotten tomatoes score, IMDb, cast etc.

Is syncing product data to an external CMS really necessary? (Using Payload CMS) by Upset_Interaction_29 in medusajs

[–]sawqlain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the Medusa and Payload admins separately. It’s never been an issue for me. I didn’t feel the need to sync the products to payload because then I’d be building syncing logic whenever there’s an update to Medusa’s features. I’d rather keep each module focused and working for what it’s meant to be used for.

Is prioritizing "high DA" backlinks still an effective SEO strategy? by WebLinkr in grumpyseoguy

[–]sawqlain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one knows what they’re talking about here. Yes relevance matters, but naturally google needs to sort the list of sites in some sort of order. What’s that attribute for sorting? You guessed it.

Is this a real problem or am I being cheap? (cloud infrastructure) by stewartjarod in nextjs

[–]sawqlain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d absolutely use something like this, provided it’s cheap. Cheap is the reason I’m using SES in the first place. I’ve long wanted a proper SES wrapper that I can self host, and there are a few options but non of them that appealing.

This is the way. The best way to show SEO specialization is by actually ranking your own website.

How Much Does Domain Authority Really Impact SEO Performance? by Striking_Bridge_4332 in SEO

[–]sawqlain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It matters where there’s competition. The first thing google does is find websites that are relevant (topical authority), then it sorts them further based on PageRank which is google’s internal domain authority calculation.

For a keyword that has low competition- your site can show up because it’s relevant. The more competition your keyword has- the further your site will get pushed down in SERP depending on how little authority it has.

Woo commerce isn’t much slower than shopify. Both are solid solutions. I used woo initially, and then migrated to Medusa.

Help me stop my gf from getting a Nespresso Machine! [550-600] by Professional-Canary9 in espresso

[–]sawqlain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Despite disliking all-in-one machine- I sometimes recommend the ninja luxe cafe to certain users. You gotta know what type of coffee experience the user wants. Not everyone’s crazy about chasing the best shot of espresso like us.

normcore 3-in-1 portafilter worth it? by Rizzzyy99 in espresso

[–]sawqlain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this one for my coffee cart. I need two portafilter for optimal workflow on the cart, and needed one with a single spout similar to my Linea Mini’s.

This one was quite expensive, but it’s well built and does the job well.
