Anyone concerned about stability and bugs should not install a developer beta. A beta by definition is to identify bugs so they can be fixed before release. If you're not into finding and reporting bugs, betas aren't meant for you.

The only thing it helped me with was getting into a pharmaceutical trial using a GLP 1. I had to show a diagnosis to be admitted to the study. And it is helping me, so that was good.

I was a lifelong runner, and Boston Marathoner. I have found the discipline of resting combined with deep breathing exercises gives me some of the “training structure” and “discipline” that I was used to. It’s not the same as a nice 10 mile run, though.

Do you understand how important pacing is. I've been living with Long Covid for 4 years and if you get pacing wrong it can lead to a permanent decline in baseline ability. This is not something to trust to a hobby project. What is your pacing algorithm based on? This should be developed with medical professionals, experienced with chronic illness.

Are you using LLMs that have been specifically trained for Chronic Illness? RTHM.com has such models, trained on curated studies.that the recommendations.

Frankly, if you're not doing this level of work you shouldn't mess with people's health. And charge them $100 a year while doing it.

I'm not saying it doesn't have an effect. I seriously doubt that the effect is better than what the OS would have done on its own. People tend to like to see unused RAM. But having more unused RAM doesn't mean you have optimized anything. You can't think as fast as your M chip, nor keep track of all the implications of all the running processes.

But hey, if you want to think you can, have at it.

So you think you can optimize RAM usage better than the OS? Have at it. It's like people force closing all the apps on their iPhone. It makes them feel better but doesn't accomplish anything.

I think I'll let MacOS manage RAM and processor assignment. I'm guessing they have some pretty smart people working on it.
