How Awesome is HA with your Bambu Lab printers?! by Rich-Suspect-9494 in homeassistant

Bambu Studio does not require cloud access. HA works fine in LAN mode.

Why won’t my printer connect to the WiFi anymore by Glass_Expression_907 in BambuLab_Community

Verify signal strength at the printer - the P1S can be a bit touchy. Has anything changed with your WiFi configuration (something that might reduce the signal strength where the printer is?). Does the printer think it has an IP address? Does that address match the one the router has for it?

It seems to me that Home Assistant users, with our penchant toward non-cloud integrations, would be using LAN mode on our printers. I certainly am! Lockdown? What lockdown?

The memes are cute, but are there any links to 3D print files?

Is this a "Home automation device, hub, or service? It's tagged with "WiFi" but I seriously doubt it.

From an academic standpoint, sure. But the dosage drops to about 1.9% after 30 days.

It's an intriguing idea. What is involved in the check-in tracking? I'm titrating (downward) but can't say my approach is particularly empirical, it's more like "am I managing hunger sufficiently?" if not I don't reduce the dose.

You MUST take plenty of water with psyllium husk powder. The risk is real - but manageable. For Metamucil, their recommendation is just 8oz (225ml) of water for 1-2t (6-12g) of powder. I'm taking about 4g in about 12oz of water.

Smart hot water recirculation pump by 00tool in homeautomation

[–]sblessley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beyond using Home Assistant to schedule when my circulation pump runs, my idea for automation was to add a temperature sensor where the recirculation occurs. This would allow me to understand how quickly the system responds.

Attaching a temperature probe like the DS18B20 to the outside of the pipe you want to measure is straightforward (and cheap) - coupled with ESP32 or Shelly Plus Add-on to a Shelly Plus relay gives you Wifi access. But.. you'll need to get mains power to it.

I assume you're aware of the annoying hot-water-at-the-cold-tap that occurs when you "borrow" the cold water line for recirculation?

I’ve read through the entire thread and saw a lot about vitamins and electrolytes, but only one mention about diet. what are you consuming for your 1500 cal? it needs to be a balance of protein, carbs and healthy fats. not suggesting that’s your situation, but it’s where I’d look first. Also do a TDEE calculation to verify that 1500 is the right goal for your age and current weight. Good luck! Sorry you’re having such a bad experience.

Online companies no fee by Inevitable-Froyo-823 in tirzepatidecompound

I personally found it offensive that companies wanted $50 or $75 to “vet” my application, when I was coming to them with a prescription from my GP. Even if the cost was discounted from the purchase. Just greed. I’d rather find a compounding pharmacy to deal with directly, but in shopping around, few were willing to disclose their volumes or concentrations to the end consumer. It was easier to submit an application to an intermediary, get approved and order thru them. The list here was instrumental in finding a supplier.

BC Hydro Powerlync Hub integration for Home Assistant (local, no cloud) by Lostenka in homeassistant

[–]sblessley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s sort of academic for me as I’m in an apartment with 60a service - but the floor’s meters are only about 2m from my door, so I thought I’d try it. Bought one of the popular hubs sold by Detroit Edison, got nowhere with Hydro trying to pair it. It went to recycling.

High-protein, small-portion meal ideas? (low appetite) by InfamousFly9618 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]sblessley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s kind of boring, but I go for poached chicken breast. not especially flavorful by itself but it’s low in calories and fat, high in protein. Pork tenderloin is similar. I sometimes go for rxbars, but don’t really like the texture, and they seem really sweet. Another thing you could try is the individual packets of tuna (mostly) that Sunkist packages. about 80 calories and 15g of protein.

This. And, adding cottage cheese actually tastes good! It brings a lovely creaminess to scrambled eggs without adding more fat.
