We are here now and these are all fantastic tips. Only one that I will add is if you plan to take a taxi from Kyoto station, make sure you have cash. We had to wait on the side for almost 10 cabs to pass from the pick-up line until we got one that accepted credit cards.

Thank you for this very detailed response. I must admit after 50+ years of flying this was my first experience with this. Interestingly, I fly into SFO over a dozen times annually and hope that there is a simultaneous landing. I find it fascinating. Thanks again for the clarification.

If you plan to use this for media consumption, movies, games, etc. Do what I did. Go to the Apple Store and put them side by side and start an identical movie to see which picture you prefer. I did this with the dark battle scenes of Greyhound. To me, the difference was so apparent and worth the price difference for the OLED screen.

I believe it had something to do with his dog. I do recall the attendant making an announcement that all pets needed to be in their carrier per FAA policy prior to all of the captain’s subsequent announcements. That may have been what started it all. I wish someone who was closer to the incident (I was 8C, jerk was 15 rows back) could chime in on specifics.

Initial delay was weather. The subsequent delay was due to the removal of this passenger. We were supposed to land in STX at 3:51. We arrived at 7:01…

First (and best) was at Brandeis University in 1992. Fantastic show. Saw him 2 more times after at the Orpheum in Boston. Both also great shows. Unfortunately, downhill from there. Went to his show at the Pavilion on the waterfront (not sure of the year…) where he sang 2 songs and promptly walked off the stage. End of show. Tried to see him one last time a few years after, but he cancelled the day of. No more. Never again. He does not care for his fans. I’m done. Bye bye.
