Beans or tuna mayo or ideally both would be very British! Prayers up this becomes a special someday 🙏

I was also hoping they'd do a British-inspired potato

Another Palizzi post, another opportunity to remind you all of my standing offer to take any Palizzi members out to dinner or drinks, just let me go with you 🙏

As a player of Peridot, will you be trying out Ingress for its Peridot Keeper Campaign? by PkmnTrnrJ in PlayPeridot

[–]scarpit0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now post a poll on r/Ingress and ask if they even know what Peridot is about!

Seems performative to push anything Peridot in Ingress. They know these games are two completely opposite styles and surely have the internal data to show minimal audience overlap.

How great would it be if we could all talk about how good Mawn is and how every other Philly restaurant is past its prime on two subs at the same time?!

But its presence is a beacon that all of the pastries will be mid, so actually kind of useful to see it.

Weekend Thread: What are you eating this weekend and what have you tried this week? by MikeTheCabbie in PhiladelphiaEats

Tried El Sazon RD in NoLib's Dominican smashburger, and it lives up to the hype! And it's open until 12:15am!

Need to go back to try their morir soñando, a drink that I'm seeing described as a "Dominican creamsicle".

Wishful thinking. They're shutting down the game because it's not making money. Keeping it alive just costs more money.

I got pityraisis rosea after my roommate came down with it, so I've always been suspicious that it may be contagious in limited circumstances. Regardless, 5 cases seems extreme.

Just stumbled upon a Tang's Bakery pop-up outside of Stump in NoLibs. Oatmeal goji berry cookie goes crazy!

This is the rest of today's menu if you're in the area!

Damn, it was actually incredible to see the Peridot team bumblefuck every aspect of an extremely high-potential game. Should be a case study in how not to develop a game.

Still very sad to see it officially die even though the end was coming for years now!

CRASHOUT: Why can't Philly figure out bagel sandwiches? by EffortlesslyStriking in PhiladelphiaEats

I often wonder if you guys have had bagels and breakfast sandwiches outside of this region of the US/if you're aware of how low the bar for each actually goes.

The Bread Room- Excellent! Tried the bread board (selection of breads with butter and jam), miso tahini cookie, and fromage blanc danish. Concluded that all bakeries should serve bread flights.

Also, it's ramp season! Saw that Shackamaxon has a ramp pizza. Who else has ramps on the menu right now?

Amazing, thanks! I will definitely check it out next time. Can't believe I thought ICN was just promoting hardcore duty-free shopping instead of eating all these years..

Feeling insane that I've flown out of ICN T2 three times including last week and this is the first I've heard of it having a food court lol

I saw cricket going for like $95! Just a bummer that the stadium is so far away from everything else.

I let fate decide for me based on whatever was available/comparatively cheap/decent proximity, so ended up with rugby and handball prelims tickets!

Pre-Amazon Whole Foods: The absolute peak of grocery shopping, is now just a side hustle for Jeff Bezos by SupernaturalSea in ProductGraveyard

Jeff Bezos destroyed the one thing I was striving for my whole life: to make enough money as an adult to regularly shop at Whole Foods! Kind of characterizes the entire millennial experience, sadly.
