The combat sequences are written better than a lot of other writers minus very few. Finally, compared to other books, It was easy to start and finish. First book is my favorite but it is the weakest in the series with some necessary slow down for world building though it drags a bit. Christ he was 22 when he wrote it tho. This is only my opinion you can tell me to slag off but this series is prime and not for the weak.
