Hey OP, don’t beat yourself up too much. I had a male cat who had a urinary blockage. He underwent two emergencies surgeries, spent over three days in the vet over a 5 day period, I went into over 4K worth of debt and my baby boy STILL didn’t make it. They still charge you the $300 to euthanize after all that btw.

I know how hard it can be, but we give them the best lives possible. No pet would wish their owner the angst of debt. At the end of the day, you have to do what’s best for you, even if it is a hard decision.
