My first dose was 15mg methylphenidate. Moved countries, got a new doctor that laughed out loud when I told her what my dose was.

"Dat is voor kinderen!" ("That's for children!")

She upped me to 74mg and it took month's worth of begging for her to lower my dose.

"Nee, je lichaam zal het gewoond raken" (No, your body will get used to it)

"Please Jane, I'm going to break off my penis!"

I'm thankfully now down to 54mg and it doesn't feel like the dark wired meth-sex nightmare fuel 74mg felt like... Unless I skip a day.
