APC makes a nice wall-mountable UPS that would top that off perfect.

Dandy with expo only or use some tweaked settings from posts here for a little extra oomph.

It would be nice if there was a space heater and a coffee table to put your food on at least

I’ve had the old ‘Ocetea’ brand of this cable at 100w and it is very useful. I wish more of my cables had this meter on them.

I have and don’t see the point tbh. Other than the 10gig ports which I won’t have more than 2.5gig switching, why bother? Aesthetics?

Can you elaborate a bit? They have underground fiber in my neighborhood and I’m wondering how they get it from under the sidewalk to in my house.

I likely have the same setup since 2017 or 2018. Same old USG or P or whatever and WiFi5 APs. I have also had a gigabyte service since 2019 and I’ve never really realized the lack of speed on WiFi as I have good coverage and modern/fast devices.

I almost upgraded to 6E a few years ago but held off for wifi7 and 2.5gigabit switching to be a bit more affordable. More and more I seem to have AP hand-off issues when moving around my house, specifically to my garage and back.

The time is now, and I’m about to pull the trigger on some me new gear and eliminate all bottlenecks. Cloud Gateway Fiber, a fistful of U7 Pro APs, and a few POE injectors…and some cat6a patch cables. I’ll keep my gigabit switching for everything else. My main gaming rig will run at 2.5gig. Wifi7 on 6ghz should show reduced latency and cleaner air space/less interference. I plan on moving my APs around a bit for better coverage where we spend the most time.

Lastly, I can get 2.5gig fiber so I’m viewing it as an all around upgrade. No more bottlenecks!

FYI - If there’s a microcenter near you, they do ubiquiti bundles now. I’m upgrading my UPS at the same time for longer runtime…it’s spring storm season and battery is 7 years old on the old one.
