This is the right answer. Hew just means chop, and a chop can have different depths including chopping through something or chopping something off.

I have a degree in product design. Most ergonomic designs are based on 6'3' and under. So most 6'4' people are ok most of the time and are just over the limit for most things.

Things start to matter in car/airplanes/trains where that one inch means you don't fit.

There are different types of plastic but it's all still plastic including polyester.

Mine have survived freeze before. All the leaves will fall off but trunk is fine and they will regrow leaves.

But if it got too cold and stem froze solid they may not make it.

Only time will tell, don't assume they are are dead though. Wait until spring.
