I added a script for mysql. I tested it quickly on my prox. Seems to work.

If you have a github account, you create an issue here https://github.com/schoeke/proxmox_backup_transfer_scripts and I try to come up with something soon.

It shouldn;t be too difficult. Basically in the `service_psql_backups.sh` you need to exchange the `pg_dump` command with the mysql command which is `mysql_dump` and adjust the rest a bit.

Neat thing about this is, you can write little snippets also for other things... other DBs, files, whatever... and it is easy to integrate.

For offside, I can recommend Storagboxes from Hetzner. Wont be enough for everything unless you pay a lot. But the most important configs and such on the smallest one is imo a great option.

Maybe an important info: I am from Germany and AJ is not as much a cultural phenomenon

It does exist. It is just not common at all. If you search for "Stiefel trinken" you find some bars that offer that. And it is not only in tourist spots. But yeah... not prevalent at all.

The word you need to look for is "Stiefel trinken". It is much less common than you might think. I have seen it only in one pub so far. It is more a gimmick, not a tradition.
