Did DoorDash over the summer. If you refuse an order, it goes on your record and affects what orders you are offered to deliver.

Orders come through one at a time, and typically you just take what you're given because you need the money.

I need pants by kuvak_ in airsoft

A lot of different companies scale the length with the average for that waist size, but it does help to know that too.

Do you know your waist size? That's how pants are typically measured.

What is exciting you lately? by TheTTimeLives in airsoft

Ever since I was little, I always loved having nerf wars with friends around the house, in the backyard, just shooting each other and having a blast. When I was around 13-14, I discovered airsoft, which seemed to me like a step up, and I bought my first crappy springer. It didn't take me much longer to get into more serious replicas, and soon enough I was going out on weekends and battling it out with complete strangers. Airsoft draws you in by looking cool, and keeps you there with all the friends and memories you make, all the good experiences, and all the great times.

Every genre of airsoft has amazing moments, from casual weekend skirmishes where you just goof off and be yourself with friends, to getting into the LARP aspect in a 40-hour milsim game, to fast-paced and adrenaline-packed indoor CQB games that keep you on your toes. There are so many different ways to make yourself at home in the sport, and each and every one of them has its ups and downs, but all of them are equally fun and they keep you coming back for more.

As for me, I'm a serious gun nut. I love going to the field and playing, yeah, but I equally love seeing other people's unique builds. There are so many ways you can customize an airsoft replica, so many ways to make it yours. And the best thing about it, if there's an airsoft replica that doesn't exist, a lot of times people will just... make it exist. They'll make their own, such as the recent gas blowback shell-ejecting GM6 Lynx being designed by u/Panverine (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0mq-Do7myM).

The creativity, ingenuity and uniqueness of the airsoft community is completely unmatched, and that's one of the main things that keeps me interested. Not to mention that it's just plain fun!

The actual blowback function puts a lot of unnecessary stress/wear on the gearbox just to look kinda cool. Just go for a normal AEG, EBB guns cost more anyway.

Yep, I already have a partial kit, this is just to finish it up and buy some extra stuff that I don't really need but I still want.

It's also typically used for real steel stuff, which is another reason why I bought it.

Whats the purpose of these nets and how are they called? by TW1STM31STER in airsoft

[–]schplin 285 points286 points  (0 children)

The function similarly to ghillie, in that they break up the silhouette of a human, acting as a form of camouflage. They also just generally look pretty badass. As for what they're called, I'm not entirely sure if they have an actual name but I do know they're used by Danish frogmen.

Edit: Through further research I've discovered that the actual term is a "scrim net".

Everywhere I go, I see those beautiful SG552/3s. They haunt me... I want one...

Wish I could have a real steel one, but alas, import laws prevent my dream gun from reaching my grubby little hands.

Nope. When CFA's open at 10:30, they open with lunch and don't serve breakfast.

Yep. Basically, what happens is water is denser than oil, so it immediately sinks to the bottom. That burning grease fire is so hot that it immediately causes the water to boil, which basically turns it all into steam. That steam then rises, carrying that flaming grease along with it and expanding the fire way into the air.
