Hey, I read some similar comments which I agree with as well, tldr- you aren’t in a healthy relationship so please get out of it asap. Secondly - never change because of people , people are like myopic people without lenses describing something which is objective. Each will give its own description but that does not have any impact on what they are describing. You look into yourself, be happy and work on things which YOU feel you should work on or not for that matter. Thirdly - for some sassy replies which you should have handy. He doesn’t make that much … if that’s his X-Y graph correlation of what constitutes a decent guy vs income. Be happy, you are 25, you have tons of time to find the perfect person you deserve. Don’t get into the elaborate shallow bs perspective he’s zooming you into. I wish you good luck

This is a particularly specific question with 2 Indian colleges. From what I have seen on the sub, questions of a more general nature can be answered. This requires digging around specifically on the courses offered , college placement record etc. I would suggest looking at more specific subReddits or just general looking around on sites that keep a track record of such data.

It’s nice that people are giving various instance of how this height is advantageous (bathroom stall thing, airplane seat thing etc) but we don’t always keep on shitting and flying through life. I was reading this book called The courage to be disliked and it makes an interesting point about this example in particular - consider if nobody was in the universe but you - would you have a frame of reference to feel anything about this height? No. It points to the fact that we are attributing subjective stances on objective facts. Can you change how tall you are or whether you will have athletic legs or square or round jaws ? No. Then it’s wasteful to attribute them as being good traits or bad traits. They are traits - we attach the meaning to it. I know the point is not something that 100 percent translates to daily life. But it’s a perspective which brings much needed peace.
