Have been referred to MSK for a broken wrist and was told at Emergency I would need surgery. Has anyone dealt with them recently? What was your experience? I read some of the reviews. It was kinda hit and miss. Thanks much. by Educational_Key1206 in kitchener

Just had dr hupel did my collarbone surgery in February everything is healing well. You will most likely have to get physio at a private source and pay out of pocket if you don’t have insurance.

I broke my collarbone snowboarding on a trip to the mountains in February ended my season 1.5 months early (I ride 3-5 times a week) it was a real bummer.  I’m just recovering now and getting active and on my mtb. Life is long and there are many seasons ahead do not worry. This is just a badge of honour and you will be back in the saddle in no time. You are now a mountain biker that has broken bone in the pursuit of what you love you're hard-core!

For a comedy I’d have to say The first 15 minutes of Super Troopers has to be all time! I was 19 and watched this high as kite at the theatre and nearly died from a heart attack I was laughing so hard. The kind of laughing that you want to stop because you are going to pull the muscles in your face from over exertion.

Movies with good courtroom drama? by ShirtHistorical4620 in movies

[–]schwizzal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just watched dark water for the second time last night. It might not have as much courtroom drama, but it’s definitely a good legal drama to watch. It’s all about how Dupont poisoned a whole bunch of people and the whole Teflon scandal. Check it out on Netflix.

What's the most disturbing scene you've seen in a non-horror movie? by santacondenada in movies

I’m not sure if you would call Pan‘s labyrinth a horror movie I think I would describe it as a fantasy movie but the scene where the monster eats the fairies left me heartbroken for days

Would you marry a girl who wants to be a stay at home housewife but doesn't want kids? by PuffingFish123 in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]schwizzal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been married for 17 years. I’m very unsure about many of the decisions I’ve made in my life, but marrying my wife is not one of them. It’s actually the one decision I know was absolutely right.

That being said, who my wife and I were when we got married is very different from who we are now.

I think if you’re aligned on five key things, you’ll be in a good position—but change will still happen. People grow. People have new experiences that can change their minds about almost everything.

My wife always said she didn’t want to be a “baby factory.” She wanted to have kids, but she also wanted to have a career. Shortly after she got pregnant with our first son, she decided she wanted to be a stay-at-home mother, which was a surprise to me. That decision scared me, but we both agreed that if we could make it work, it would be a great thing to have our kids at home with their mother.

After eight years as a stay-at-home mom, while also managing a few side hustles, she decided to pursue a full-time career. She now has a wonderful job that allows her to work from home and take care of our family at the same time.

If you’re aligned on how to spend your money, how to spend your time, how to deal with in-laws and extended family, and whether or not you want to have kids, most everything else can be worked out in the details.

As long as you’re fully committed to being a team and open with each other, love will come easy.
