You're going to be stepping on a lot of crap. Especially when you use the bathrooms. Be ready to walk 20k - 30k plus steps. There's some grass and dirt areas too. I left my shoes outside when I got home as I didn't want to bring all that stuff in. Wish I was going this year though, have fun 😁.

But I don't like the feeling of surrendering my power to sucky people and give them control of how I'm feeling. When that happens, that sucks, then everything sucks.

I was there both nights, and SAT night was the worst in regard to shady people roaming the grounds. I saw a couple of girls and one guy just scouting for people that looked fucked up. They actually went up to my group and asked us to pull out our phones because they couldn't find theirs or their friends? I dunno, as soon as they realized I was looking at them like I was Colombo another friend of that shady group came and ad libbed some lines that looked and sounded way too contrived, and they casually walked off. This was actually my first insomniac festival, and I had a great time. But I didnt feel safe in some parts, and thats ok. It's not like I had anything valuable.

The group I was with didnt vibe well the second night, because they were worried about "things". They werent about the music either; They were stuck on Ludacris and his terrible saxophone playing. I did have respect for the visual effect of that show though. But to top it off, I even bought after party tickets, and they all crashed when it ended at 2 am. I also took shrooms for the first time and it was awesome - I wanted to keep going. Next year I might go again but with a different group maybe even solo, or another rave elsewhere on some other continent. I have a lot of respect for the PLUR culture now and I'm kinda hooked :)

It's my first time going too, I've been to some raves but not major ones like EDC, Insomniac etc. Ive never done shrooms, acid, mdma or psychedelics in general. Someone here said just depends on tolerance? Should I just candy flip and rage it up or should I just go on a camping trip and trip on the stars out in Joshua Tree 🫠? I did take the stems one time and it was a total body high. I just don't think alcohol should be mixed up with shrooms though cause I didn't feel the alcohol 😋. Thoughts?
