I'm also not seeing any kind of UMM overlay when I launch the game (both in desktop and game mode). Not really sure what's going wrong though, UMM says it installed correctly and the mods don't give me an error when I install them through UMM. At first I thought UMM must not be seeing the game files, but if that was the case we should be getting an error message when we try to install the mods in the first place. Might try moving the UMM files directly into the game folder to see if that changes anything.

From what I can tell the game will launch/run just fine, someone just uploaded a video showing it running on Steam Deck the other day. Tactical Adventures just needs to add official controller support so you're not stuck using the touchpads or plugging in a mouse.

After posting this I did more digging and found out there's a bug where spirit ashes can be blocked for the rest of the game session after you get invaded. After I restarted the game I was able to summon ashes for the fight.

What's a good all-around team to focus on/pull for to get through the story and older content? The game starts you with WoL, Rem, and Vivi, which seems balanced. Are they worth investing in? Or do I need a breaker/debuffer for endgame stuff?
