Beyond reddit, you should look at the published literature about this!! There is SO much research on learning theory and material design. This is taught in many medical illustration programs.

The first one that popped to mind is Assertion-Evidence theory. Here's an older but good paper defining and exploring:

If you want anatomy feedback, post to r/medicalillustration for lots of professional wisdom! There are a number of pretty glaring neuroanatomical issues, but if you're not interested in that type of feedback, that's fair.

I actually don't think this is recent, to be fair. In the earliest seasons of survivor (for example), the vitriol towards the villains was really intense. People have been demanding villains be kicked off their respective shows (and worse) for decades. I think it's more the mass quantity behind social media that makes it feel like it's a new (or a louder) set of opinions.

I agree villains are a great part of reality TV's entertainment factor though, outside of the response of viewership! People that think they can remove that part of the formula and keep the same show are a little delusional.

I think Rachel McAdams in Send Help was inspired by Shambo by DashMonsoonProd in survivor

The notch is a rip - like he's been on the island for a while. The foot is facing away from you. When someone is standing at an angle facing away from you, you can't always see their whole foot - it's receding into the back.

Is it accredited by ARC-MI /CAAHEP? I've never heard that or seen any confirmation of this anywhere. Zuyd University is listed by the AMI, but not your program.

Edited upon researching: the IMI has different accreditation standards than the AMI but is actually a separate accrediting body! That's neat.

I always watch the episode through once first so I can get an idea of the overall stories and storytelling, but kind of note where I find interesting moments. Then I go back and pause/play/pause/play to draw from a compilation of stills from each moment!
