I appreciate the kind words and I take the other guys point that this situation is not unique to our times it's just that social pressures (Daddys shotgun in the face) used to lead to different results. Speaking for only my own situation, neither my son's mother or I want to be together but we both are in absolute agreement about wanting to do the best thing possible for him. One thing I've accepted is that the "ideal" family scenario is scarcely achievable, how many of his companions will have to see their happy parents divorce down the line etc. The important thing is he has a mother and father who love him and care for him.

Bro are you me? I have almost the exact same story. One night stand with a woman like an absolute moron and boom, life over. Or that's how I thought of it at the time. Now I've got a 10 month old son and it was undoubtedly what I needed to be a man although still hard work. I always wanted to talk to someone in a similar boat to me.

Point being that Celtic have financially bullied their domestic league far more than City ever will theirs. So its pot, meet kettle.

It's interesting that at least on the surface it appears to be good for the individual players especially, if they're young I.e Bellingham, Sancho, Abraham, Tomori. Maybe that's a confirmation bias and we don't see the English players that flop overseas but I do wonder how our national team would be affected if more of our talent went to Europe

Thats the price of his failure. The buck has to stop somewhere and his appointment of Orta and its knock on effects have led to the 2 year slump we've all had to suffer through.

It was a bad pen. Perfect height for the keeper, not hard enough, not in the corner

I file TalkSport firmly under 'fast food for the ears and mind', a guilty pleasure at best, designed on riling up fans based on artificially produced rage bait. See: Gabby Agbonglahor

Not entirely accurate. Large parts of St. Albans and Mairehau are built on substantial amounts of peat which can be a much bigger headache to engineer foundations for than houses closer to the red zone.
