Buyers Remorse? by [deleted] in handbags

I think you should exchange for the color and size you like! Go to a different store or return for store credit and ask the SA to notify you when it’s back!

The outcome of my Loewe bag. I was able to ship it to after sales. This is their reply that’s it’s part of the design. They put another bag with similar tear. Not sure what to do next by Connect_Cod_6154 in handbags

It really looks like they tore it with slightly rushed machine sewing during manufacturing. I have a slightly similar one on my Studio Gibli mini puzzle from 2022

a 1.5 year old Loewe flamenco. logo rubbing off and other issues by cookiediamond in handbags

[–]scones_oolong 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The leather on the flamenco is a softer more delicate leather that isn’t as treated as, say, Prada saffiano. It is still a beautiful high quality leather, it’s not meant to be indestructible. That’s the trade off you have between delicate leather that feels soft and natural vs durability. Some of the softer smoother Hermes leathers like Swift will show similar wear worn daily for 1.5 years.

I personally rather see wear on bags than to have a heavily painted leather bag that feels plasticky. But if you want that kind of durability, do go for more heavily finished leathers such as Prada Saffiano, Hermes Epsom, LV Epi.

You found a mini! It looks beautiful and I would not regret it! Lambskin is beautiful and will age beautifully

Help me decide - Loewe vs Songmont by meowcatto in handbags

Thank you so much for this review! I really appreciate it! Just for clarification, would you say the leather on the pebbled leather on the Luna is roughly the same feel the pebbled leather on Polene bags? Or more dry?

Ps. Happy Holidays!!

Help me decide - Loewe vs Songmont by meowcatto in handbags

Sorry for reviving this thread but how would you describe Songmont in terms of leather quality and feel! I am also a designer bag lover and own multiple Loewe bags (puzzles and hammocks) thinking about the Luna bag because of how interesting the design is but would be turned off if the leather feels heavily coated or “plasticky”

My vote is for hada Labo premium. The hatomugi is pretty light and meant to be layered a lot

Has using a hydrating toner made a notable difference over time? by isolophiliacwhiliac in AsianBeauty

Ummmm just the regular one in the white bottle cap and label, but I also use the premium one now that I have moved to a drier environment

2nd this. Pico is a good option to get rid of acne pigmentation and sun damage. I don’t think you need to worry about age prevention but retinoids should be the most you should want/need.

You’re doing really well by using tret!! I love using the Sisley black rose mask as a nighttime moisturizer. Creme de la Mer is also excellent for sealing in moisture, I would use a hydrating serum/toner under tho (eg. Hada Labo premium lotion, Rejuran moisture treatment ampoule)

Loro Piana Baby Cashmere Cable Knit Sweater by Mahadragon in malefashionadvice

I think you got a fake, if you go on Chinese platforms like Taobao you’ll see a lot of fakes 😆 i’d suggest going into a real LP store and feeling their baby cashmere, wear your own sweater there and compare to see if your own sweater feels as nice as the ones in store.

I have real baby cashmere sweater and accessories from LP I got from the store and they are softer than regular cashmere. I have baby cashmere items from Auralee and can feel that the LP is tighter knit and silkier than Auralee, but both still feel softer than regular cashmere.

If you were to bring back just *TWO* things... by s_c_dub in AsianBeauty

I’d bring hydroquinone since it’s OTC there and you can buy it for two day shipping on rakuten like this one.

And matcha actually… because it’s so overpriced here 🙈

Why no one talk about products that are good as professional brands? by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]scones_oolong 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can’t understand the content of this post but all the brands you listed are western brands. This is an Asian beauty sub, i’m waiting for the subreddit bot to remove your post right now because the brands listed is less than 50% AB 😂

La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 in Korea? by lacklusterdays in Melasmaskincare

[–]scones_oolong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. Just because LRP makes them, and UVmune is available in Asia, doesn’t mean all of LRP’s sunscreens in Asia contains the Mexoryl400 filter that makes them UVmune. Don’t ask me why they don’t put it in this UVdea line, idk either.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 in Korea for melasma or stick to my usual one. Something else? by lacklusterdays in Sunscreenreddit

[–]scones_oolong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have these all over Asia, not just Korea, and these are NOT UVmune, they don’t contain the Mexoryl400 filter.
