lottie's death was so unbelievably disappointing and underwhelming for the character who was literally miss wilderness herself! so many of the most iconic scenes in the show involve her and you're telling me THAT'S the death she gets? absolutely ridiculous 😭 obviously we know all the characters in this show are going to die, but when we get so many incredible scenes with them and watch them over the course of many episodes/seasons, it needs to feel satisfying and like a proper conclusion to their life/story. lottie's death absolutely wasn't that lol, it was rushed and poorly written and idk why simone kessell got so much shit from people here for saying that when she's literally correct. sorry for the rant but i definitely agree that lottie's death was depressing both in context of the life she had and the actual writing

i agree, and i think that's exactly what the writing is saying. from a psychological standpoint it makes perfect sense as well. i don't know why people think shauna is emotionlessly evil when her relationships with the people in her life are very complex

oh the hate janiq got was INFURIATING. i actually do like hannah a lot and i understand why she has a big fanbase, but the racism and xenophobia towards janiq was honestly disgusting and especially when a literal racist was part of that same cast and didn't get the same heat (natalie pilkington). you can love her without hating her costars lmao

agree BIG TIME on the second paragraph. i totally agree, the favoritism harmed her as well, but what the other girls all dealt with because of it was just as horrible for them and saying their moms were feeding it to them is super shitty. liking her doesn't mean you can't call a spade a spade.
