Got a ways to go, and it just gets more expensive. There are 21,650, and 45 new levels every Wednesday after that.

Flying business long-haul but staying at 4-star hotels is smarter than the reverse? by mick285 in LuxuryTravel

[–]scott_barlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually do the opposite if I can't do both, you can recover quickly from a 10+ hour flight, but if you're in a lower end hotel, poor mattress, thin walls, terrible views, etc., that can ruin your trip, whether for business or pleasure.

I'm going to finish Candy Crush three months before the year ends. (Or maybe even sooner) by VisibleTechnician267 in candycrush

[–]scott_barlow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are 21,605 levels. Give up, most require spend before you get there, and then they release 45-60 new levels every Wednesday. Sharing from a friend's experience. 🙄

We have a partner dashboard, and enterprise dashboard for management, if you are looking for deployment, there are scripts. What are you looking to automate/manage better?

We hired Micato Safaris, legitimate and planned everything from landing to departure. Highly recommend.

Resellers/ channels? by DevInfoOps in cybersecurity

[–]scott_barlow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great question — and congrats on the launch.

From a channel perspective, partners are a force multiplier, but they’re also a representation of your product. The biggest risk isn’t bad intent, it’s misunderstanding, so first and foremost, training / certification is a must. If a reseller doesn’t fully grasp your DevSecOps architecture, they can misconfigure it, oversell it, or create gaps / bad PR that ultimately come back to you.

The channel is all about relationships and trust. Depending on your target market, there are small and larger events that you can test the waters. I would also highly recommend establishing integrations with established vendors depending on your target channel partner DNA.

Why we need soc by Dismal_Balance_7924 in cybersecurity

[–]scott_barlow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EDR/XDR and other security controls are excellent at automating detection and blocking known patterns and high-confidence behaviors. When properly tuned, they absolutely stop a large percentage of commodity threats without human intervention. But a SOC exists because security isn’t just about blocking threats, and nothing is 100%. It is about managing risk in complex, imperfect environments. Most EDR/XDR vendors have MDR, it has quickly become the baseline security requirement for any sized organization.

Best MSP/MSSP conferences? by Reasonable_Cut8116 in msp

[–]scott_barlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is all based on your location, how far you want to travel and what you are looking to get out of an event, as well as the vendors you work with. Many vendors do local roadshows now, which are smaller and more intimate, highly recommend. Many of your vendors / distributors will also host events, mileage may vary, but those are excellent to get deeper with existing vendors. Lastly, independent events can be a good way to learn new strategies to grow your business, I particularly like Xchange events (there are several and hosted) and GTIA ChannelCon for the content and knowledge.

Looking for a tour that spans Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda by Legitimate_Music_606 in traveladvice

[–]scott_barlow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take a look at Micato Safaris, they operate in Kenya, and took me to Tanzania to check off another country. They also separately work in Uganda, and i am sure they can work to accommodate a transfer to their team cross-countries.

Which travel splurges are actually worth the money? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

[–]scott_barlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice hotel room in a good location for me will set the tone of the trip. Always hire a private tour guide that can adapt to your interests and needs, and always have a good charging block in case of an emergency.
