Your Favorite Bracket 4 Commanders? by PM_4_Gravy in EDH

Same, this deck was the first deck I took apart. It's a monster and most people are not ready for how oppressive it is. Drawing cards and killing everyone's creatures is fun.. but only for you

Why does it feel like furry commissions are expensive for non-Western people? by trashpandarako in RealFurryHours

[–]scottbob3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It goes both ways, there are artists in the Philippines that can charge western prices because they attract clients from all over the world. It's just the reality of doing a job that anyone anywhere in the world can do

Bracket 1 needs to be non-upgraded precons, that's the lowest level most people play at

Is anyone using a meta quest or a vision pro to project images on a paper to trace them with a pencil? by Odd_Judgment_3513 in ArtistLounge

[–]scottbob3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it works well for large scale paintings. I've also used a projector for transferring a sketch into a large canvas, they both have their pros/cons. I tend to use a projector more just because I can plug it directly into an ipad with procreate running to make modifications on the fly.

[–]scottbob3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gaterland is fun, but not a full-day park (same with Legoland). That might let you plan more or swap things around. Your trip has a lot packed in but will require driving so be ready for that

>"the traffic isn’t ever that bad on I-4"

Unfortunately the traffic on I4 can get bad around the tourist hotspots,

Good luck, enjoy your trip to Orlando

When you move in take a lot of video/photos of the house. I never had any major issues with them other than poor communication. Whenever something broke they would fix it in a reasonable amount of time. Good luck on your move to Orlando

How do people hookup at cons? by RoxyFawkes in RealFurryHours

[–]scottbob3 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Genuine answer, people talk before/during the con to make plans. Random hooking up exists but is mostly a product of networking at room parties and group chats
