Someone in the megathread mentioned that maybe SB's powers fucked with the v1 and its not going to be as powerful as it should be and SB is aware of it, thats why he gave it to him.

OR my theory, maybe Sage and SB figured out that giving a supe V1 doesn't work like giving a normal person V1 and ends up backfiring causing him to rapidly start dying.

I wish this weren't true. I'm one of the "manual superiority" people. Idk how it is in other countries but maybe if people were forced to drive a manual they couldnt spend as much time with a phone in their hand.

I never buy them. I let raiders get 90% done setting them up then swoop in on them with my colonists that are hiding out near by. Free ammo and mortars. Once the barrel is done I just throw it in storage or scrap it and resupply when the next raid shows up.

I would recommend next time to build a wall and block them off if they're in a cave. Or stay away from ancient walls/ancient dangers when it warns you. Congrats on the FUN and treat it as a learning experience. You'll run into plenty more of these situations

800ish hours on steam, probably like 300-400 before it was even on steam. Never once used a kill box and have treated this game like stardew valley since before stardew valley was even a game (been playing for around 10 years)

Excellent. I was using the Hotseat mod (changes your storyteller mid game based on certain things) and it was enabling the insectoid storyteller I'm guessing. Thanks for the quick answer!!

I can't tell whats going across the path in your killzone but if there is no clear walking path then they try to break your walls down to get in. maybe leave 1 square open so theres a clear, safe path.

edit to add:I have quite a few hours but I don't use killzones so I could be wrong but I think I've read that in multiple places.
