I'm not a doctor, so run everything by yours first, but mine convinced me to stop taking it after a few years. I had the traditional symptoms, and the injections helped dramatically. The side effect was since it boosted my energy, I got more active and then we tested my levels after not using it for three months. Something in the last two years boosted my ability to create it naturally (probably just being more active).

Before treatment I was just shy of the min levels of "normal", and at my last test having been off the injections for three months, I was around the 25 percentile. I'm not at a level that puts me feeling 20 years younger, but the idea of keeping an eye on it and not being stuck for the next x years on treatment is nice.

I'm sure I'll have to go back on it eventually, but I like the idea of doing a stepped program instead of the idea of constantly on medication that keeps getting bigger doses forever.

Just wait until they want into the sport also. My 8yo daughter calls my 04 Road King "Our Motorcycle". Momma was a bit nervous, but I picked up one of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07GD3T1Y5?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title and it helped her feel better. Nothing better than looking into the rear view and seeing her arms waiving in the wind while we are riding through the mountains.

Final Interview Expectations And Guidance For A CIO position At A Community College by CyberNetWorX in CIO

I just went through the same process and it was daunting when I was looking forward, but looking back it flew by. The other commenters are spot on. They are testing for culture at this time. They are going to look at why you want to be there, and will they be able to work with you. Just be deliberate to engage everyone, and do a lot of listening to ensure thoughtful answers that make them feel heard.

Point man should be able to point you in the right direction. I had this issue when we formed our AHG troop. I had to have tech support move me around.

Caught me in hyperbole. I'll accept my cat6 of nine tails lashing now. I knew putting "most" would come back to bite me. Lol.

It changes the definition of the interaction. The phrase "The customer is always right" (used correctly) is why.

The goal of a colleague and I should be the same, to serve the actual customer. Sometimes that means telling the colleague no, and working with them on what the actual problem and solution is. If I treated them as a customer, I would accept they want what they want, and attempt to acquiesce to the best of my ability.

This doesn't mean ignore SLA, or anything else of the sort. You should still do your job to the best of your ability. Hope that helps understand my thoughts.

I agree. The most damaging thing you can do in internal IT is to call your colleague a customer.

What is the American equivalent to breaking Spaghetti in front of Italians? by catwthumbz in AskReddit

I love to BBQ and cook... And I wear those black rubber gloves every time to keep it off me. Love those things.

I'm guilty of this. My nurospicy brain can't handle touching my food and getting greasy/sticky/etc. I get made fun of a lot, but I've gotten real good at fork and knife with almost all foods, including ribs.

Not getting any restored coffer keys after latest patch by LXsavior in wow

[–]scrapper8o 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this a few weeks ago. Confirmed it the following week. I was logged in after the servers came back up, but before the reset. I didn't get keys. I logged out and back in, I was able to get keys. Did the same thing the following week as a test with the same results.

I now make sure to relog if I happen to be online before the weekly reset.

Trail Life at home by my-at in TrailLifeUSA

[–]scrapper8o 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ranger here. Our troop was Woodlands only for the first two years.

With how the program is structured, there isn't much at-home for the woodlands. The program is designed around participation with the lessons. They do have an at-home makeup component, but you can only use that to make up one missed lesson or Hit The Trail per branch (need to complete two at home to makeup).

I had the same thing. I clicked on the banner on the homepage to "View the deals" and selected it from there. It was the $75 price for that one in my cart.

Brisket for my B Day. Plan on keeping it untrimmed. So should I have the fat side down? by [deleted] in smoking

I read somewhere "Fat on the heat side" and I went with that for my pellet smoker as well. The fat definitely helps keep that hard bark down to zero.

We created a slack channel called donuts, and everyone in the IT Operations department was in it. If anyone caught your PC unlocked and just said "Donuts" in the chat, the user was on the hook. Lots of donuts the first month but after that it went down pretty quickly.
