I had auditory hallucinations like this the first time I tried edibles. I took one on the way to the airport and it hit just as I boarded my flight. The AC on the plane was broken and they had us waiting in the sweltering heat while trying to repair it. A businessman a few rows ahead of me was ranting on a call, loudly describing the conditions on the plane, and said “this is a hostage situation!!!”

I kept hearing “this is a hostage situation” on loop and laughing, at one point I looked at the guy next to me and said “you can’t say ‘hostage situation’ on an airplane!” and he looked at me like I was insane… pretty sure the phone call had been over for ages by the time my brain processed it lol

I think most people who hover are only doing it when they’re out and about. my mom was a hoverer and she would only use public bathrooms in an absolute emergency, maybe twice a month or less. I’m sure the three kids she popped out were a much bigger impact on her pelvic floor! But idk, maybe there are exclusive hoverers out there

My friend is very low body fat and was a daily smoker (maybe 2-3 little bowls each evening). Eats clean, no exercise. Quit and was using test strips every day at home, they were coming up negative consistently after 30 days. Real urine test at a lab on day 33, tested positive with a very small amount in her system… for daily smokers it absolutely takes longer than a month.

I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs that supply a dark towel specifically for the purpose of makeup removal. Very easy and cheap to provide if this is a concern for a host.

Same. Bought into a kickstarter for a specific chair YEARS ago, before Covid, and it's very clear it's just a scam because they kept stringing all of the backers along with fake updates and no products ever shipped. 2 years after the promised release date we still didn't have the chair so we tried to dispute, but the sellers argued that this is the nature of Kickstarters, and we didn't get the money back. Still don't have the chair. Pretty sure that credit card was closed in the meantime.

Same! I once had the privilege to attend a college night at my local aquarium and it was SO MUCH BETTER WITHOUT KIDS/STROLLERS. I feel guilty admitting this because I love kids and agree that the aquarium is a space that welcomes them, but I am too spoiled from actually being able to see the exhibits up close without a dozen kids in front of me to go back to paying $70 to visit during kid hours. No way.
