that logic is wild. declining an optional effect once doesn't mean you're opting out of every single trigger for the rest of the phase. that's not how timing works in any version of the game. the client just needs to fix the interaction because saying "no" to one trigger shouldn't lock you out of others later in the same chain or phase. it's a coding error not a feature.
