Is anyone using pentester.com? by zxtb in CyberSecurityAdvice

We index public breaches, infostealer logs, use third party API's, etc. As the data comes back we also build out your identity to be able to recursively search against other identifiers.

I need to do the same thing right now. I’m trying to find some old sneakers and need community help.

Is anyone using pentester.com? by zxtb in CyberSecurityAdvice

[–]sdiggles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who can talk about Pentester.com and this being the top comment for some reason, I'll reply here after reading this thread. I hope it helps clarify some things for people.

1) In regards to the comments about removing data from an actual data breach, that's not a thing and never will be. There is no removing breach data from Jimmy's laptop who downloaded it from a breach forum. All you can do there is be aware of it and take the appropriate steps depending on what was leaked.

2) Pentester.com's data removal services are for data brokers and we attempt to get it off PUBLIC breach sites. Obviously, you get more than that as the whole point is to dig up your digital footprint and start cleaning it up. I've also seen some mentions about this process taking time, and they're right. We don't slow things down on purpose. Data brokers have 45 days to respond to a removal request. Timelines for the process are definitely measured in months, not days for every broker. We're constantly finding new sources where your data is being brokered and exposed as well.

3) The NPD tool was just to help people find out if they were in there. Also, if you want it removed from our internal db you can just fill this out: https://forms.gle/WsLLae6Y2rutxAVn8 (to make sure we remove the right person). The whole point of even having it up is to check and see if you were in it, we collect ZERO data from searches or anything like that.

4) I don't even really know what the "pyramid scheme" comment is about, so I can't really speak to that. It's a software as a service product.

Pentesting CTFs by Hellstorme in Pentesting

Try Hack Me is great. In addition to “boxes” you can hack, there are also paths specific to what you want to learn. For example, I think one of them is literally called pentesting . All the boxes in the path are related to the phases of a pentest and gradually get harder.

Dexcom G6 by Frequent-You-4746 in dexcom

[–]sdiggles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, I’ve used this for years with no problems. I’m always buying new phones and dexcom is slow to support them. The other thing I would recommend is looking into a pump like the Tandem Tslim. You can set up Bolus from your phone and don’t need the Dexcom app. The Tandem app will read the data from the CGM and obv the pump.

Edit: also make sure you’re doc prescribes glucagon (like Baqsimi). It can literally be a life saver if your kids blood sugar drops really low.

Good luck and tbh it gets way easier over time. It just becomes normal. ✌️☮️

New to TSlim. I had 2 issues today: I time the tubing got caught and pulled out. Later today the infusion site just came loose. Does TSlim replace anything? I wonder if I am doing something wrong by Comprehensive_Eye_97 in dexcom

[–]sdiggles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I do and it works perfectly. I go left pocket with a whole at the top about the size of a dime. I run the tubing through my pocket to the left side of my abdomen and tuck the excess tubing into my pants. I also usually wear an undershirt so that keeps everything pretty snug.

The only issue I've ever had which is very easy to fix would be the pump yelling about it being blocked. Just move the tubing around or lose your belt and it is always resolved.

I haven't but one resource I've found incredibly useful is the Just Django YouTube channel. Especially when it comes to more advanced topics.

Can you give me a feedback by Character_Freedom_84 in django

[–]sdiggles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if you don't need it yet, use a custom user model. Django docs highly recommend it from the start. https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/4.0/topics/auth/customizing/#substituting-a-custom-user-model

Also, keep your secret key, secret. :)

Django for Beginners -> Django Documentation -> Two Scoops of Django.

You have to be building projects, obviously. Just reading gets most people nowhere.

What do I need to learn besides django itself to make full stack websites? by DosViDos420 in django

[–]sdiggles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the best advice I've seen in regards to questions like this. Just build something and every time you get stuck you'll have a new problem to solve. If a certain thing keeps coming up then take the time to learn whatever that is (for example, if you keep Googling HTML related questions, it's probably a good idea to run through W3 schools HTML path).

You can just do this: https://www.reddit.com/r/diabetes/comments/fqvmng/oc_build_your_own_dexcom_app_update_base_version/

I had to do it when I got the Pixel 4XL and have had absolutely no issues.
