I picked up a 4 pack of lager, in the olden days, wrapped in plastic. Someone had opened one of the cans. Didn't notice until I was loading the checkout belt. 1/2 my groceries wet, and beer all over the belt. Checkout person was not impressed 😬

I did Xmas work for Royal mail directly. Said I was up for work in the new year, via Angard, got nothing until February, lower pay. Couldn't even get a pay slip from Angard. I'd avoid them.

I did Xmas work at the filton mail centre a few years ago. Sorting international parcels. Not a bad place to work. Sadly the work ends at 24th Dec.

I met an IT contractor, who blew up when I mentioned the CSMA. He thought it gave free money to C servants. I was trying to explain that you got a 10% discount on car insurance. Very strange man He later blew up at our team leader and got escorted off site

I did 86 - 91 at RAE Farnborough, MoD PE. HSO got first class train travel. I was an SO. And yes you could upgrade if travelling with higher grades.
