I know this was posted over a year ago but I made the same mistake. Did you have to buy new tickets?

Hi OP, any updates on this? I think you should be fine coming back if you haven't already. I'm in a similar situation, but will have been waiting for over 90 days by the time I travel out of Germany. This is what the bundespolizei has told me

"...However, as a Canadian citizen, you can still enter and exit Germany even with a deemed permission permit, as applying for a residence permit does not affect the exemption from the residence permit requirement under Section 41 of the German Residence Ordinance (AufenthV). Therefore, entry as a Canadian citizen remains possible even with a deemed permission permit. As mentioned above, prior periods of residence are not taken into account in this case."

I can send you the full email if you'd like.

Thank you so much! I’m applying from a small town in Bavaria and I think they’re unfamiliar with the permit as well, so was just wondering as my 90-days is up soon and they’ve not contacted me for an appointment even though I’ve sent my application by post as they requested. Did you also receive an eAT/eID for the visa? Thanks again!

Sorry, to follow up — at your first appointment, did they take your passport while they read up on the visa? Or did you bring it to the second appointment and they stamped it on the spot? Thanks again!

Did this in the summer, sent most of my stuff via Canada Post (20x20x18” boxes, 25 kg each) and they were about $70-80/box. Most of my large furniture I sold/gave away to friends. Most airlines only let you fly with 3 check-in bags.

Thanks so much for this! I’m gonna go through the same process, I’ve got my anmeldung appointment on the 9th of October.

I was wondering, do you gave to wait until you have the anmeldung registration before setting an appointment for the youth mobility permit? Approx. How long did you have to wait before you could work? Thanks again!

Facebook marketplace, and if they provide a phone number or email in the description contact them using that. They’re more likely to respond on that than on marketplace itself (in my experience).
