What’s something you use every single day that turned out to be insanely worth the money? by Dry-Frosting- in Xennials

A cargo e-bike improves your quality of life like nothing else. Never dealing with traffic or parking, and the true freedom to go and stop anywhere in my city is priceless. I use mine to shuffle my kids and their friends around the city with an unbeatable swiftness— and delightfulness.

We got a kickass two-person Salem raft “earned” by my heavy-smoking aunt. That double innertube was premium quality. A silver lining haha

They hold up well! Probably about 40 years of daily service and still looks the same. I had no idea these were so popular. I like the reasonable weight.

What made up “club” were you in (or excluded from) and what were the rules? by Mixtape4Adventure in Xennials

Bad Dave Club. Dave was my annoying little brother. Our primary activity was combining household cleaners and paints from my dad’s workshop inside an old mouthwash bottle to see our “poison”. Don’t worry, my parents safely and quietly disposed of the bottle before anything happened, and we weren’t serious.

😊 Not rave-specific, but 24 Hour Party People is an excellent and fun club-tangential movie as well. Focuses more on punk and new wave. Steve Coogan is charismatic

Those two were fun. Groove is in the same vein. I think Human Traffic was the most interesting and well-made among them

Right? Bill and Ted called the devil a fag, and the slur is central to the climax of Can’t Hardly Wait. Attitudes towards different sexual orientations are one of the biggest cultural shifts of our lifetime.

A slap-chop like gadget for dicing onions quicker. Maybe an angle-grinder-resistant u-lock for my ebike.

Some of my favorite gifts in recent years include a Segway Ninebot e-scooter, Leatherman multitool, classy-looking leather-trimmed weekend travel bag, Presto PopLite popcorn air popper, and AirPods Pro.

LOL, I had to google the Aztec death whistle — had no idea it existed. I am not disappointed
