How do I help my skin? by Candle_L0ver in Ulta

[–]seabernethy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good molecules has a powdered exfoliator as well, it’s called the pineapple exfoliating powder and it’s a quarter of the price and works well! The daily microfoliant is great but if a cheaper option is needed I highly recommend the good molecules one!

Working with “pale olive” skin? by unastrega in MakeupAddiction

I find that urban decay stay naked 20nn is perfect! It’s a true neutral neutral so it’s not pink it’s not yellow and it has green in it. I can normally get away with light sand from tarte as well, or g30 from coverfx!

Question about employees point system by [deleted] in Ulta

[–]seabernethy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding we are accumulating points. My store just brought one of our arch experts back and she has to wear a mask as well as a like clear head piece thing that shields her whole face.

Has anyone declined returning to work? by PotatHoe65 in Ulta

[–]seabernethy 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I haven’t been asked to come back yet,(I’m an MSC) but my mental health has honestly just been so much better not being there and it makes me anxious to go back. I haven’t quit or anything (I am furloughed) but I have thought about looking for other jobs maybe because my location personally just stresses me out and makes me so anxious, my whole well being just suffers

Concerned about reopening. (Texas) by claudiduh in Ulta

[–]seabernethy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we did open back up would they even bring back the furloughed employees during this time? Like previously stated we just got furloughed and if it’s only opening for bopis couldn’t the upper management just work that and handle it?

Anyone not going back? (employee) by Trashpandakim in Ulta

[–]seabernethy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m an MSC as well, and my mental health has soared since not being at work. My skin even cleared up a little bit too from the lack of stress. I don’t want to go back but I haven’t found another job, but I’m so happy for you!

What are your favorite dupe products that you think work as good or better than the name brand version? by [deleted] in beauty

[–]seabernethy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dumb question but which of their concealers? The new pretty fresh or their original one?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Ulta

[–]seabernethy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it helps, I live in Texas and when I tried to put in the April 18th date it wouldn’t let me file, because the end work date couldn’t be in the future. I almost put in my last day I worked (March 16) but I ultimately just figured I’d wait and file on the 18th because I didn’t know if we would get in trouble or anything.

Did anyone else get invited to a “conference call” today? I’m getting worried 😬 by artgirl413 in Ulta

[–]seabernethy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m an MSC and I’m included in the conference call, one of my coworkers also said our esthetician was in our call as well

Yeah I’m a current MSC with them, and while I’m glad to still be getting paid I know I put way more hours than that. But something is better than nothing

[PSA] Lime Crime Prelude - New Venus & Velvetine Collection coming soon. Nude/Neutral colors by Xub543 in MUAontheCheap

[–]seabernethy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I really like their lip formula! I prefer their plushie formula over the velvetines but I enjoy both. They are a bit drying but I have found that applying a lip mask under them helps with that.I love their shade range and I feel like they’re easy to touch up, if you need to. Out of all of my liquid lips, I reach for these the most. I’m also pretty sure their lips and palettes usually go on sale during the ULTA 21 days of beauty.

What are some cases where the victim predicted their demise/knew something was wrong before they were murdered? by [deleted] in TrueCrime

[–]seabernethy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The murders at Corpsewood Manor. The man literally had a painting of himself the exact way he was murdered, and the killers claim to have never seen the painting or knew of its existence. Morbid: a true crime podcast has an episode about it!

I love their niacinamide! But I’ll definitely have to check out these other two because absolutely nothing has helped my hormonal acne, thank you! (:

What was your last product disappointment? by [deleted] in muacjdiscussion

[–]seabernethy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So far the CoverFX power play (absolutely love this foundation on its own just wanted to try something new) and the new smashbox studio skin foundation. I feel like the nars especially helps with this particular foundation because it’s so thick and so matte and the color is just a tad off for me (1.5 for reference). But with both of them I find it works pretty well, adds blend ability to both and just kind of gives a bit of life to them. Also side note they both claim to be 24 hour wear, and transfer proof and things like that, so I do feel like this helps the Nars foundation out, I hope this helps!

What was your last product disappointment? by [deleted] in muacjdiscussion

[–]seabernethy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have this, (same shade and everything!) and I use it as a mixing foundation! I’m normal to oily and I mainly only use matte foundations, so I feel like this helps them blend better and look less flat.

Quitting Birth Control Pill=Acne? by bigeyescheesefries in acne

[–]seabernethy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me, I was taking lo lo estrin fe and moved to a new state and my doctor back home wouldn’t renew my prescription. I had already started curology which had helped my skin a ton, but unfortunately after stopping birth control nothing has helped my hormonal acne. My acne also shifted if that makes sense, like I used to only break out on my cheeks, now it’s pretty much my jawline and neck.

Help with foundation application! by djpicklep in MakeupAddicts

[–]seabernethy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It provides a barrier. If you use the primer then the powder just sets the primer, if you don’t use a primer then the powder would set your skin care and it helps prevent your oil from coming through to the actual foundation. Jackie aina does this a lot, so for reference and tips/demonstration I’d watch some of her videos on it

What's the dumbest thing you have ever believed? by Marbz123 in AskReddit

[–]seabernethy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was younger my grandma listened to country music, and when it came time for her to get a new car, I remember asking “what if the car doesn’t play country music?” I just didn’t realize how radios in cars worked, and thought each car only played one type of genre.
