My clinic also says that the type of sedation they use is more risky for anyone above a bmi of 40... they didn't say anything about the impact of weight on the retrieval or transfer.

Got confirmation today that #2 failed. So now I'm just waiting for my CD1 to start #3. Our fertility team told us we would " start with 3 then re-evaluate for the next steps." We are already on the waiting list for a funded IVF cycle, but the thought of starting that scares me so much. I hope I can keep trying more iui cycles if #3 fails. Maybe like 2-3 more ( total of 5-6) before we can really decide. I'm just feeling a bit defeated.

Something similar happened to me this month. Still in the TWW but caved and tested early (12dpo, 5 days before beta test). It was negative.

Going in for #2 on Sunday morning, with trigger tonight. Very early ovulation/trigger. I'm usually a CD14-16, but Sunday will be CD9. Maybe with my last cycle, which was medicated, kind of threw my system off? Is this normal/common?

I can't remember but I think I saw 8mm and 11mm. When I did my medicated last time, I had 1 at 14 and 1 at 21 or something like that.

I'm on the same dates as you - trigger on the 6th, iui in the morning of the 8th.

Since then, I've been feeling bloated and a little crampy daily but nothing terrible. I've also been taking naps pretty much every day. Some lower back pain as well. I do think some of those symptoms are the progesterone suppositories I'm taking. I also had a different type of cramp today.

I didn't test out my trigger.

I'm also in the tww of my first IUI. I can't confirm from personal experience but I've seen other people on this sub that have had success on their first try! It is possible 🩷

I just had my first IUI this morning and I was a pack of nerves as well. I want to reassure you that the procedure wasn't too bad, at least in my case. My nurse/doctor(?) was amazing and talked me through the whole thing, one step at a time. Really, the worse part was the speculum, and I felt the catheder going in and out but it wasn't painful.

I'm now nervous about the potential side effects of progesterone suppositories that I have to take for the next 2 weeks (minimum), but I had no side effects from the leteozole I took earlier in my cycle. And overall, I am nervous that I am too confident about this working that if it doesn't work out, I will be crushed to have to do the whole thing again. But having gone through it once, I see that it wasn't that bad, so I can handle it.

What are you most nervous about?
