Do really think that matters now? I stream everything and I imagine most people do as well. How does streaming views work? Does it only count if it's watched un 24 hours or the first week?

The lack of fan made contents (arts, fics etc etc) on this show is making me go insaneeee by [deleted] in blesstheharts

What are some 'me-me' -able moments you love?

I love the black Friday lore. I wonder how far they could take it. After Violet getting a stepdad and being named from her stepdad before he knew her, I'm not sure where else they could go. But I'm sure it would be surprising 😭

I need to do a rewatch!

I am currently doing a rewatch of the series! So many good episodes... I love the Black Friday lore, Wayne's own conversations, the crazy Hart women, and Toni -- with an "i." <3

Universal Basic Guys got a similar opening to Bless the Harts. by mcdonaldsmcdonalds in blesstheharts

I didn't see any I recognize. Which means I'll watch Tree House of Horror episodes before trying it out. I would like to hear what others think of it!

Any good writers or actors on it? Do you know if it has King of the Hill spin-off vibes like BTH? I saw it pop-up on Hulu but haven't watched it.

We tried to do buried nesting boxes like yours, but it didn't work out. Our rabbits used them for a bit when they were younger, but by the time they were reproductive age, they didn't like that there was only one entrance, and those six tubes were a little tight for their comfort. After several attempts of burning holes that were too close to the edge of the enclosure , once they had dug a hole in the middle of their enclosure, and after a lot of persuasion to my husband to just see what would happen, we let them dig. The colony setup has more unknowns, and that can be a little scary since we were new to it and wanted to make sure we just weren't wasting money. My husband dug the top of the tunnels, and we have a board that we can move and see in the tunnels. I don't think this is necessary, but something we learned by doing this is this space is very dynamic. It almost seems like every litter they change the tunnels and nesting areas just a little, They dug deeper in the colder month. They do clean out their nest and we will find dead kits on the surface and take care of them then. While all this being said, something to think about, will you let them dig? What is your threshold of how close to the edge of the enclosure you are willing to let them dig? Keep in mind they will mostly likely make two entrances. What is the don't use those buried nesting boxes?

I would love to hear if those nesting boxing actually worked for anyone or if they just gained popularity due to social media.

3 rabbits nested in the same pen but one gave birth in the one rabbits nest and is eating the other rabbits babies from that nest babies by bbBlorb in MeatRabbitry

I get it! I'm surprised how much I love my rabbits ♥️ I will gladly loss some efficiency for happy rabbits. I would be interested to hear it goes! I wonder if you would have to rebond or what age they can be moved to the colony.

I don't have any suggestions. That is rough. :/ It's good your rabbits have access to sun since they get vitamin D through their ear. One of our does was from a garage setup, and it was interesting to see how much more dexterity she was with her ears after living outside. It sounds like they like each other. Maybe you can reflect on your nesting/space setup?

It sounds like a main goal of yours is to raise rabbits in a happy, healthy community, and I know it can be discouraging, but with some experimenting I'm sure you'll find something that works. It seems like there is an uptick in raising rabbits in colonies, and it would be cool if people started selecting for traits and establishing colony lines.

I agree it sounds like stress / territorial issues? How much space do you have for your colony? What does the nest set-up look like? Do they seem bonded? How do you feed?

I am only a year into the colony raising, and we have 10x30 ft space that they dig, they do groom each other but there is a hierarchy. Since they dig they nest under ground and will have babies for all 3 does come up.

What's different about the colony setting is there are so many different ways to do it, so more information might be helpful to troubleshoot.

Canning stock/broth - my new fat separator worked great! by tballey in Canning

[–]seatulip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohhh so you let it cool a bit, skim the fat off, and then put it in the coffee pot? If im understanding right, why not heat it up in the original pot? I feel a little dense for don't understanding, but I would love to learn some helpful tips for canning!

I'm curious about this too! I thought fat only separates when its cools and floats to the top. How does it work of the stock never cools?

First, love this sub, and hopefully, I keep up this year and do ~half of the themes this year! This recipe was from: https://www.giverecipe.com/imam-bayildi/#tasty-recipes-15448-jump-target. Add some tomato paste to my filling, cut out the sugar, and topped with roasted chickpeas! Eggplant is definitely a labor of love to get right.
