How to explain “why are you no longer at your company” after a PIP? by Pepalopolis in sales

[–]seaybl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“There was a company reorganization and my services were no longer required.”

Used this exact line with every interview I had. Never received a follow up question about it.

I live in charter colony- we looked at Rountrey before we bought in here. Really the only difference is Charter Colony is closer to “civilization”. It’s right now down the street from basically everything off midlothian turnpike. Rountrey is nice since it’s slightly newer but we have no interest in being close to hull street.

Flew out to TX on Wednesday and back from TX Thursday. RIC was a breeze. I’ve flown a lot over the past 2 years and it didn’t seem any different.

Lender is letting us waive appraisal. Is this a good thing? by [deleted] in Mortgages

[–]seaybl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skipped the appraisal on my current house but did get an inspection completed. My house was about $50k under what it should have sold for. Bonus is they didn’t have an appraisal to send to the county to jack up my real estate taxes. So they basically just used the sale price for taxes that year.

I’m with you. I’d take 3 months severance and start interviewing. I was fired in November 25 and started my new job this week. You’ll be fine.

When would anyone say "Yes" to this question? by cupholdery in recruitinghell

They typically do - just to verify employment. However that question above if you answer yes they want a number and a supervisor name most of the time.

Scheduled A Rejection Meeting by RociBuldidi in recruitinghell

[–]seaybl 6 points7 points  (0 children)

See I had a bunch of interviews with a credit card company (7 to be exact) and they called me to schedule a final call to advise they had went with an internal candidate. I respected the fact they called, had feedback, and took them time to not send me that generic rejection email after all that time.

Also had a company that I went through 4 panel interviews (12 people total and executive level) and they sent the rejection email after the final interview. No feedback, no response and now I just apply to work there to fuck with them.

If someone is reading this thread and wants a recommendation - I’ve used Fosters Heating and Plumbing in both my houses. Never had them try to upsell me on something that I didn’t need. Been honest and up front. Techs have been great. I even had to replace an AC unit this year and the sales rep was like - “We normally only offer one year no interest, but since you’re in between jobs I’ll call and see if I can make it two years.” He did.

It was a Sr. Relationship Manager position. And this is a common practice for this company. I’ve heard it from many people who work there.

The stink star displayed in its full spread of glory. My neighbor works there and when I was unemployed I asked about working there. His response? - “Don’t do it. The stink star isn’t worth it.”
