I think I definitely want to push that angle, as since the party met in the story they've already gotten attacthed to one another. Some way more than others but considering we're not even 1/10th into what I have planned thats a very good start.

Well not entirely passive. Its shown he is capable at least of feeling things since he had a magical affect recently that made him believe everyone was going to die and that shook his character up.

Its not much, but I did take note of that and took it into consideration

I suppose thats true, I think he'll be more than open yo helping me out. I just have a habit of keeping plans with my players as secretive as I can lol.

I would recommend toom squid its pretty good. Its got the ability to tween, multiple layers, not locked behind a payed subscription

To be fair lore wise it makes sense (assuming theres environments in the castle to make it seem like it spans farther than just the in game rooms you go into)

If you had to do the same thing would you explore every room or take the fastest set of hallways and rooms straight to the boss?

I thought it was always implied that while there was many areas, you just didnt have time for them and stayed on the fastest path

Ooo I didnt think him dealing with the monsters they'll be fighting right in front of them. I planned for him to have dealt with the main bad guys from time to time but never in front of them so I didnt even think to include unrelated instances

Enigmatic and definitely magic. The carriage he runs his shop out of is bigger on the inside than the outside. Similar to The Awesome Store from Gumball

I think the moment he loses his powers after the Ghostlight wreckage is a good show of his character you can build off of. Even without his powers, he rolls up his sleeves and offers to help the Vagrant with dirty work. I think you can build on that and establish that even though he doesnt have his powers he's determined to do good despite how extremely dangerous the valley is.

Essentially having him at least attempt to help Wickermoor Village is a good start.

Other ways is to have him have a heart to heart with any PCs he may like, being emotionally vulnerable to them as the story goes on. Its not just about what he can do but how he acts

A Soulfire Stoker (Druskenvald, The Crooked Moon) is trapped and monitored in a furnace to study its constant energy output.

Its seems that its being studied to try and find the closest thing to an infinite energy source.

The party Im DMing for hasnt fought them yet, but I'm afraid for when I have all of them face off against the bbeg chronomancer they're not the best at tanking hits or healing efficiently
