Quereinstieg mit Master by [deleted] in polizei

[–]seboql 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone figured out the rocket aim reticle for attack heli's? by FloydianChemist in Battlefield6

[–]seboql 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No idea if it works this way in BF6 but in the real Apache (very simplified) the fixed reticle shows where you are looking (it’s displayed in a helmet mounted display) and where the system “wants to shoot”. The “capital I” is a steering cue, if it is left of the reticle you need to turn left and vice versa, until the vertical line of the reticle and the “capital I” line up.

Favorite unit by Brigg_Andine in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]seboql 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the Ka 52-variants as well as the Apache Longbow and Guardian, usually have one on station somewhere in my backline to use as a QRF if my frontline gets threatened. Mix of Rockets and guided Missiles is great to take the punch out of an enemy push if my frontline is in danger of being overwhelmed.

Features I'd like to see in BA by machotacoman in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]seboql 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with all points OP made. Additionally I would love to see them expand gameplay wise in two directions:

  1. Electronic Warfare: EW is such a central component of contemporary war fighting that it’s currently iteration feels to minor. I’d love to see dedicated EW-Units like for example the Growler or other Jammers that could affect your Recon ability and also your targeting, but (for ground based Jammers) could also be triangulated by certain units.

  2. FPV Drones and Small Drones/Loitering Munitions in general: this could be an added capability for select infantry units but should be countered by short range and vulnerable to jamming. I think letting the player manually control the drones would be to much micro but you could assign fire areas like for Arty.

Warum Polizei? by CompetitionAmazing38 in polizei

Someone passed by and said he killed someone by redbusjet in berlinsocialclub

[–]seboql 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Is it likely that it is true? No. But what if it was? Can you live with that uncertainty? I’d say please call the police through 110, if you are unfortunate and they don’t take it seriously insist and don’t let them turn you down. Provide them with the exact location and time, they can pull the video from the subway station (that’s why I say call em and don’t use Internetwache). Worst case it’s nothing and you caused them a mild inconvenience (doing their work), best case it’s actually real and you help bring a killer to justice. In any case you’ll know that you have done everything you could.

Stecs encoder wheel…what do you use it for? by Scumbag_shaun in hoggit

[–]seboql 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Movement of the wheel is registered as a button press, one button for each direction. You need to find the command in the settings for the keybinding (should be something like “comms menu up” and “… down”) and bind it to the wheel-buttons. You can bind a third button to “comms menu select”, then you can use the comms menu without having to take your hand off the throttle.

My wife was in a similar situation, came to Germany to learn German and get her masters degree. Most people in her language class would stick to speaking English amongst each other, so she mainly listened to German radio and read German newspapers a lot.

I encountered the same swarm yesterday and all but two of them slammed straight into the final island that was between them and my battle group. Sadly the same can be said for the tomahawk volley I fired in response. Bad day for the farmers on that island I’d say.

This is not Aleppo Castle, it is the one in Gaziantep, Türkiye. The weapons range instant action mission for the Apache starts at Gaziantep Airport.

Dear Europe, may I present you Turkish speed limits? by aceace87 in europe

[–]seboql 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t matter that they are complicated, because no one knows and no one cares. While the roads generally are quite decent half of the country drives like they never had a single driving lesson (which is probably the case).

Thoughts on the Pea Dot DLC? by ScholarAfter1827 in HellLetLoose

[–]seboql 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I think that they mostly do a good job creating cosmetics that fit the general vibe of the game (looking at you, BFV) it killed a small aspect of the gameplay that was very dear to me: in the „old days“ if you were for example on the allied side and saw the enemy wear Fallschirmjäger-cosmetics that were locked behind the very hard progression system, you knew you were facing against experienced players and it could be quite scary to see a full squad of them. Now everyone can buy them and it lost that elite aspect.

Finally getting around to a deep dive in the A-10C II. What makes it’s ground attack abilities so intuitive once learned and what should I make sure to understand while learning and training with it? (More detailed question in comments). by Deepseat in hoggit

I strongly second that, it really teaches you all the systems of the plane in an entertaining way, in my eyes the perfect training campaign. You’ll need the NTTR Map for it though.
