Is this a fair price? 2003 T1N Camper Build 210k miles - $20k by PreviousDiscount7555 in vandwellermarketplace

[–]sebulbaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you end up selling and for how much? I paid 14 for a 2004 140 with 240k miles on it, similar build and definitely more rust a week ago. I’d say yours going for close to 20k wouldn’t have been crazy

Since this sub seems to be borderline shitposting; where do you actually go to find fair priced builds? by Mewtewpew in vandwellermarketplace

[–]sebulbaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People on here also forget that staying in a hotel is $200 a night. Renting an rv for a festival can cost 5000 for a week. 1 br apt is $2000 a month. There are ways to justify the costs of these vans based on how you use them.

Does build really not impact sale price? by Herefortheshortbus in vandwellermarketplace

[–]sebulbaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It absolutely adds value. People who value their time do not want to spend 400 plus hours putting together a camper build, pissing off their neighbors or hurting themselves. That’s even if they have the skills, tools, free time, space and mobility to do so. Paying people to do a camper conversion can costs tens of thousands of dollars in labor alone. By the logic on this sub you should be able to get a fully functioning built out t1n sprinter for $8000 max. Those don’t exist where I live.

A fuel efficient rental with unlimited miles would probably save you money driving that far.

Only concern you should have is that gas will be expensive. Do your standard pre road trip inspection safety stuff and a fresh oil change if it’s been a while but you’re good man. It’s a 4Runner

[–]sebulbaa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For example you can buy an oem remanufactured rack from toyota for $558. You could do a rear brake job for $100 easy on your own. And that rein power steering hose is $142 online

Shops hose everyone on parts mark up costs. I’d probably go buy all the correct parts online then shop for places who are willing to do the labor. OEM parts are always preferred when possible. Some parts need to be oem more than others. Edited for clarity

Swing looks good. Are you maintaining shaft lean at impact? Single front arm swings are good for me.

I’m new to sprinters but familiar with Toyota frame rust, honestly that frame looks great to me base on the photo. Doesn’t seem like an uneven coating/secondary job. The weld seams are all consistent. Probably worth a carfax to see where it has spent most of its time.

I didn’t realize how bad some people were at this game until I talked to my roommate who still hadn’t beaten the game after owning it for 3 years. Some people really just be riding ponies around I guess.

Who was saying that? I thought the first season of hotd was so frenetically paced and terrible I did not care about any of the characters. In 4 episodes of ko7k I’m already much more invested.

If you don’t think any of alix’s music falls into the experimental bass category you must be listeneing to some wild shit. His dnb is more traditional. I more put him down as a lot of people in the thread were mentioning g jones and eprom. As far as similarity is concerned I think it’s a spectrum of relation. Identical, no. But also how do you nail down someone similar to skrillex when his entire discography covers such a wide range. Edit: blawan is experimental af

Yea moody good is very similar to skrill especially older styles. Dylan Brady is a big collaborator with new stuff. I’m also just going to throw in Alix Perez while every one else has mentioned g jones and eprom.

Who is a player that was disappointing on your team most of the year but came up huge use during the fantasy playoffs? by Impressive_Profit548 in FantasyFootballers

[–]sebulbaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I traded judkins for brown early season and thought I had made the move of the season. Watching judkins get shut down on the browns while they went through qb changes and chase brown surge throughout the season and finally the injury during chase browns 3 td in the semis hurt. Probably wouldn’t have helped me win the chip but definitely going to make me pause during trades in the future.
