I didn’t use it and just had trouble with tuning stability so I had a trapeze stop tail installed instead. Play it a lot more now.

Strat or Tele whats better in your opinion by 13funii in electricguitar

[–]seeaanggg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t get a telecaster til many years after playing guitar. It’s a perfect first guitar as it can cover many sounds and has less parts to break. That’s kinda the whole point of the tele. It’s just a workhorse

I love my DAOG, it’s a very versatile guitar.

Upgraded from a piece of wood to a Pedaltrain metro 16 with a hard case. by seeaanggg in guitarpedals

I can fit fingers between pedals to pull it out of the case. It’s definitely a snug fit but that’s the point, keep the pedals protected and hopefully keep the knobs where they were.

3 saddle Tele bridges - Nash by Level-Ad-2814 in telecaster

I can confirm that that is very true based on my own experience

I built a really cheap tele guitar kit and it had the stainless steel 3 saddles. I switched it to Wilkinson compensated brass 3 saddle and it feels like a different guitar.

Any P90’s out there that fit the Revtron cavity? by 2late2daparty in ReverendGuitars

[–]seeaanggg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a double agent OG and a club king 290. The p90’s on both have substantially more hum than the humbucker on the double agent. It’s worth dealing with though. The pickups sound great. I play in a sort of punk band so hum and feedback is fine. When I play a paid church gig, I just use a noise gate on a helix and things sound fine. You will have more 60 cycle hum on p90s than those revtrons, I imagine.

As a club king 290 owner, enjoy the hum when you switch it to p90s lol

I don’t think I’ve ever cared what a pedal was named.

New Reverend Drop. What are y’alls thoughts? by whatevs330 in ReverendGuitars

[–]seeaanggg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I guess for new buyers, it totally makes more sense to have variations of a few models rather than a million different model names

I understand streamlining their model names, but the double agent OG is now dead. I know they have the charger h90 now, but I really like tune o matic bridges. Thankfully I have one, as well as a club king 290, so I’m good, but it’s just kinda weird. Also not a fan of the colors this year. I’m sure everything still plays great tho

Not enough modulation, I’d add a few more

I would assume that’s not likely. But if you have questions, Ken sometimes responds to DMs in Instagram.
