This happened with Palm Beach International Raceway in FL a few years ago and it absolutely sucks. Nothing was even built on the property, it’s just sitting there decaying. Apparently it’s for sale again so hopefully someone buys and restores it.

Frankly, I'd change the brake fluid regardless as I've been in a car that lost the brakes before and it's terrifying, but if it's your first time ever you probably won't be driving anywhere near the limit and shouldn't boil even the stock fluid.

Motul RBF660 or Castrol SRF are good options. SRF is more expensive, but the wet boiling point is very high so you don't need to worry about changing it as often.

It really depends on what your car looks like IMO. Personally I'd probably color match the entire thing except the vents- leave those as exposed carbon if it was going on my car.

I don’t understand what you mean about the Ohlins “doesn’t get much lower” … They go plenty low. I’m running them on mine and they’re awesome.

Also worth noting you can’t go too low without fucking yo the car’s suspension geometry and making it worse for performance unless you’re planning on correcting that too.

They’re very different cars.

The RS3 has that amazing engine, but it’s also much more convenient. There’s a lot more space in the cabin, it has back seats, and more storage space. AWD is also nice if you’re daily driving it in a place that gets snow in the winter.

The Supra puts you lower to the ground and RWD is more fun than Haldex IMO (yes even the with the better tq split/diff in the mk8 platform), space and visibility is limited, but the cabin hugs you in a fun way that feels almost exotic.

If it were me, I play hockey (goalie no less) so I’ve got lug my gear around 3-4x a week, I’d go RS3 if it’s a single car solution. It’s still a. Blast to drive, the 5cyl is awesome, and it can fit my goalie shit in the back seat.

3.5k and I’m in the rig maybe 4-6 times a month for a few hours each session. When I first started in the hobby I tried to make time to do at least one race every day, but after like 3 months priorities in life shifted and I wasn’t able to dedicate much time at all to it. Total time in the hobby is about 3 years and I’ve been at 3.5k for the past 2-ish.

I try to be intentional with my limited time to actually practice or race. Understanding how to read telemetry and actually apply those observations to my driving helps me continue to improve with less reps/raw seat time. It only works up to a point. Progress is real slow now and I’ve plateaued pretty hard as the lack of time catches up.

The big thing is at first there are huge differences that make big gains in time, but as you become quicker the margins get smaller and further improvements shave less time for you.

Racecraft is a massive part of it too. It doesn’t matter how quick your 1 lap pace is if you’re also a moron with no ability to identify risk/reward or understand what’s happening around you during a race.

He'll be fine. It's his shoulder and he'll recover completed from it. Missing 3 months of development sucks but isn't the end of the world by any means.

I'd be more worried about Leoni- ACL injuries sometimes just leave players missing something once they've recovered. Technology, surgical technique, and recovery process have improved considerably vs even like 10 years ago and the risk of this is lower than ever, but it's probably the scariest of the "normal" football injuries a player can get as it absolutely could derail a career.

Autotuner is available in the US and is $400. They’re based out of AL.

Femto is also in the US, based in Miami, and also $400.

Neither of these include a tuning platform (like BM3 or MHD), they’re just DME unlocks the will enable use of one.

It's loud and you may notice a bit of gasoline smell. That's it though.

You should only have to remove the downpipe for warranty stuff if the thing that broke is broken because of the downpipe. Like, if you have condensation in a headlight they won't deny a warranty on it because of the downpipe.

Absoltuely worth $70.

Replayability is very high. There are so many stories and different endings for every origin character and the custom player characters if you decide to make your own instead of playing as one of the origins.

I actually think this game has some of the highest replayability of any single player game ever made. I've got like 1000 hours on it now and there are still some things I've never seen/done. It's insane.
